The 16th man to successfully perform open heart surgery on himself while drunk. Well, I suppose "successful" is a relative term. It's true that he lived, but for the rest of his life he had to dress as a
# leprechaun or his heart would stop.

It's going to take an absurd amount of money to keep the site afloat, since all of that bandwidth and server space has to come from somewhere. Of course the obvious answer is advertisements (I doubt the dude can really run a video sharing site for long off of crowd-sourcing, (dae kickstartre???) unless he pulls in fat stacks), and then the obvious choice would be Google AdSense. Oh wait, you can't be le edgyness if you use Google (dae ffuck the police use yahoo?). Okay, so you're already stuck with a low-tier ad agency, which means you'll have a bunch of ads for digital orgies of war and now your site looks like a snuff portal. Because you now have half-naked big-boobed anime vixens plastered on the walls, you've turned away a large chunk of people, who find that shit bad and immoral. But wait, there's Adblock!
Well that won't work now will it? So let's just pretend you somehow got your Kickstarter campaign filled (well KS hates websites so probably IndieGogo) and you managed to keep porn and Google out. Well not out because you want them to index the site so you get more than six visitors but enough Google that you can write it FUCK GOOGLE on your nipples and get that seventh visitor to see it. Now it comes to content. How open? Well if you are staying away from Youtube then why not everything?
Well now you made Motherless. GG no re. Okay, no porn. How about music and vidyas? Can't have music, because the VEVO+Youtube partnership is basically the reason Youtube has music and you will get Cease and Desist's and DMCA Takedowns like crazy. So you leave only the shitty, unsigned music that nobody cares about even though it's mirrored on Youtube.
But Vidyas! Video games can save the day, and they should because that's basically the whole reason these wannabe-Youtubes are popping up. Well, you're going to need licenses from EA and Ubisoft and whatnot if you want to monetize your shit (hint: you do), and since you're going to get tired of playing Minecraft, you're gonna want them.
And you'll probably get told to use Youtube, because, well, it's the big one. And I know, monopolies like Youtube are bad, Steam good, etc. But now you have a sinking ship with no money (Youtube was losing around $40 million a year before Google's acquisition), no quality content, and no visitors. Own a phone? iPod? Xbox, Playstation, Bluray player, Smart TV, hell you can buy fridges with Wifi now so Youtube can run on anything, but I doubt Viddme or BitVid or whatever shitty named edge-worlds you praise as the second coming of Digichrist can. Just fucking use Blip if you want to host shit off Youtube and have a hard on for giving your father the finger when he turns away.
Also just make a fucking Google+ page for your Youtube channel. It takes roughly 15 seconds and then you can go back to posting on Youtube and believing people read your opinions or care about them to any capacity beyond ignoring.
