They've made it pretty clear that the game is evolving.
I think they will be focusing almost exclusively on mulitplayer for this installment.

just to throw this off on a different tangent (sorry for going off topic) but now when I try to access Incogs site it comes up with Dylan Jobe's new team LightBox Interactive?

Totally old news I know but I was under the impression that LBI had splintered off from Incog but given the site change I think what was left of Incog after some of the guys left to form ESP has become LBI?

Anyway, I don't really want to see TM 'evolve'. It scares me a little in fact when Scott said in the Dark Past that it needed to change.

I think it does in order to bring in new fans (if thats even possible now) but I can't see past the main change been a stronger focus on MP games and after TM1 I would say that every TM has had a strong focus on multiplayer.

What I should say is I don't want TM to change into say a mission based game as to me that would just be shite.

If the mention of customisation is true then I could get into that I think. Every mutliplayer game has that though anyway now to some extent.

Personalising your characters etc.  Which is nice.

The 'roots' as you say PureNRG should be that it's still a pure car combat game, I don't want to see guys running around knifing each other and I don't want to see helicopters.

I still say as I always have that the game will be a little cheaper to, maybe $40 max like standalone Warhawk.


EDIT: just to add there, I'm excited as hell to see what LBI have in the pipeline. Apparently they have a 3 game deal with Sony as well- maybe more Warhawk??

Just giving a little info on when they might be able to make the announce.
I still feel quite hopeful that we will get the announcement by E3 (even if we still can't see the game).

oh that would be so freakin awesome if ya could use collateral damage to blow up the other cars,   that would have a kick ass feel too,  drop a remote bomb in a nearby building then drive off and wait for someone to drive into it then BAMM!!!    oohhhh....   that would kick ass...     i REALLY fuckin HATE the multiplayer bullshit nowadays cuz all its serves to do is take away from the single player experience,  basically they waste all the memory of what they could have done on a game and ruin it with that shit...   i know with a game like TM the multiplayer aspect is a neccesary evil,    i just hope they don't go too far with it and totally ruin the single player experience like so many games do nowadays...   as long as they still have the challenge mode *where you pick you're car, you're track, and the opponents u wanna blow up* as well as a decently wide selection of tracks and atleast half of the original cars like roadkill, spectre, sweet tooth, ect..   i'll be all for this one.

nevermind,   u guys were right...   i just googled it,   there is mention of a TM for ps3 but so far not even so much as a definate maybe from the creators of 1, 2 and black.
