What is perceived as Liberalism has changed over time.
Today's Liberal, the type you can't stand, is really more of a Communist, with some being Anarcho-Communists.
Since the C word is a dirty word those in power call themselves by something else.
They call themselves Progressives, or Socialists, or describe themselves as Far Left, but those labels are misleading.
However, many Liberals are still Classic Liberals, who aren't worshipping the communist religion, but by association have been mixed up with them.

The classic liberal doesn't agree with censorship, cancel culture, woke-driven bullying, segregation, alienation, and exclusion.
See, communists are so dirty they hijacked liberalism. They operate using divide-and-conquer tactics, because that's an effective strategy.
And conservatism was hijacked by the Republican Party, a party of cowards with the exception of about five of 'em.
What have Republicans done to stop the spread of neo-communism? What do they do for conservatives? Not much.
Texas wasting time on abortions. Idiots. Keep your eye on the ball! With multiple crises going on they had the nerve to start controversy,
so the Dems can get into court packing. Both parties suck. Fighting each other for power over a divided country? Doesn't even make sense. 
Hate on Democrats all you want, I do too, but let's not act like the other side is so trusting.
The other side of a coin is still the same coin. Neither of them want unity.

I think if the true liberals and true conservatives sat down and really talked, listened to each other, they'd find they agree on more than they realized.
Then if true unity were reached, that strength in numbers would be too much for an authoritarian dictatorial government to handle.
Historically, people wait too long to figure that out. Humans are so easily played. Governments use fear to get the allegiance they need.
They are good at getting the masses to stay dumb, loyal to mafia styled governments, enslaved to corrupted media, and full of hatred for different people.

Jaffe, as an example, is not a political expert. But you know he isn't a communist.
He doesn't believe in firing people over their opinions, which makes sense, he's a classic liberal who believes in capitalism.
But he's also a corrupted classic liberal in my opinion. A "useful idiot" to all those power hungry monsters.
He's the kind of guy for free speech except when it works for him, like when Trump gets a lifetime ban on Twitter, that works for Jaffe fine, he didn't vote for him, didn't like him,
but if Jaffe got that lifetime ban, he would be complaining about how unfair these tech giants are being.
But that's because people have a tribal mentality about things. The Mafia for instance hates crime, except when they are the ones doing it.
The Government itself is tribal. Oh, they can make a mask rule but don't have to follow it themselves, but their servants around them do?
They talk real boldly now, as if they fucking own you.

But you shouldn't misdirect your rage at the Jaffes of the world & those you perceive as liberal snowflakes or whatever derogatory you want to use.

If President Biden was in a state, (Likely a Republican state) where there is no mask mandate then he did not break any rules.

This is how I see it, its really simple.
One party does there job the other does not.
Democratic politicians try to do their job, serve the country and the people in it.
The Republican politicians serve themselves by taking bribes from lobbyists and serving the CEOs who send them.

Bribes from the OIL, INSURANCE, GUN, AND BIG PHARMA lobbyists.
