Looks like it’s three bucks to participate. Might be worth a watch just for the behind the scenes pictures.

If you pay the $3 let us know how it is. I'm gonna buy a Coke and have a nap myself.

I know Jaffe isn’t popular around here anymore, but I still like the guy and want to hear his thoughts on the original games and their development. If no one else wants to listen in I might give some highlights later.

Yes, I would be interested in hearing highlights. I still like the guy too and will always be interested in whatever new game(s) he plans to work on. I don't feel that any TM fan should completely disown the guy; afterall we wouldn't have the TM franchise at all were it not for his contributions. So for that, I'm forever grateful.

Honestly, I would sign up and pay the $3 myself were it not for patreon's stupid rules and liberal bullshit. Honestly, however, Jaffe himself is a liberal I can tolerate because he's at least a liberal with a brain; which is unusual (and sounds like an oxymoron).

Anyways, I'm sure it would be fun to hear about the behind the scenes making of the TM1 endings and potentially win a ST figurine. However, I would absolutely dive in myself if he were to go into the TM2 cutscenes or speak of a new TM game. Just not gonna put up with patreon and shelling out 3 bucks for just cheesy cutscenes and a piece of plastic. Although, Jaffe is a good storyteller; would just need a little more reason to tip me over to bother with it...

But, yes, if you wouldn't mind, I would at least like some highlights as you mentioned and it would be much appreciated.

I’ll be editing this post with highlights. I recommend watching the full stream as it’s actually pretty good and worth the price paid. I don’t want to give everything away so you’ll have to watch the stream for the behind the scenes photos.

-The stream starts with a prerecorded interview with writer Jeff Goldsmith.
-This interview is worth checking out, mainly centers around their time around set and how Jaffe was hated by his peers for getting this massive break.
-Jaffe starts streaming the lost videos. If you have already seen these videos there was nothing new between the content shown on TMA originally and the stuff available on Head-On: Extra Twisted, but Jaffe provides commentary for each one.
-The news report featuring Calypso was actually the game’s original intro.
-Minion was never meant to be playable.
-Jaffe says Apocalypse 9 were intended to be skinhead white supremacists.
-There are even more videos not included in the game including Dave Jaffe in a chicken suit. These were meant to be seen in-game and Jaffe references other examples including people reacting to your vehicle from a drive-thru. Another example included being able to see people hanging out in their backyards in Cyburbia.
-Twisted Metal was named by a random employee after the rights to previous titles fell through.
-Jaffe mentions that the endings were originally supposed to have the in-car view superimposed over parts of the endings seen in first person.
-Calypso originally was going to have a nose ring that connected to a chain that linked him to several other nose rings that his slave girls would wear.
-Jaffe says the closed door interviewing process for the slave girls would be frowned upon by Sony today.
-Jaffe calls and talks to his ex-wife, Emiko, who is the hostage in Sweet Tooth’s ending.
-Jaffe’s wife Emiko named Sweet Tooth and Darkside.
-Jaffe also mentions dating the woman who gets assaulted by Apocalypse 9.
-The blonde slave girl was named Holiday in real life and everyone had a crush on her.
-Charlie Kane was not based on Escape From New York.
-Needles and Charlie being related was a last minute idea that was never fully developed outside of Yellow Jacket’s ending.
-The endings were cut because of one production manager named Kelly Flock who Jaffe actually calls live. This call alone is worth the $3.
-Kelly Flock says SingleTrac wouldn’t give up the source code for Twisted III and actually tried to strong arm Sony into selling them the license stating that they already had Rogue Trip in development and that it would be better received anyways.
-Sweet Tooth was never intended to be the main character of the game, that was decided upon by marketing.
-Bruce’s actor was a tester for SingleTrac (also named Bruce) and suggested for Thumper to be an impala.
-Calypso’s uzi fire was one short burst repeated many times.
-Jaffe’s brother voices Mr. Grimm, Jaffe himself voiced Agent Stone as well as appearing in the black box dialogue. This was because the actor who plays Stone never showed up to set.
-Jaffe gives away design doc pages and a signed Sweet Tooth figure that I came very close to winning.
-There will be a Twisted 2 stream in the future and I suggested Dave get Lee Wilson on which he seemed excited for. Hopefully that happens.

I have to admit, those are some cool tidbits. Some of them I knew . . . but very few which doesn't happen often these days.

Still dunno if I'll watch it.
