I'm not sure how a simple question is a bother? It's not like I've asked him 10 times or anything like that. Never communicated with him, it's my first time. I kind of find that just a little insulting, to be honest as I'm just a newcomer around this forum and I mean business. If he rarely logs in, how could he be bothered by anything? Especially, if I proposed an offer that would be difficult to reject. I wouldn't think makng money is a bother. Perhaps I just obviously don't understand how many times he was asked about it prior so I will give it the benefit of the doubt. I've been searching on eBay and other sites on the daily for about a month now and nothing so far. That's why I'm trying to individuals online that do have a copy or copies so I figured I'd ask them personally to make an offer.
I think you misunderstood my use of "bothered" but I wasn't trying to be insulting.
I had asked Archminion about TM1 PC some time ago, like 2 years ago, 3 years ago, I don't remember, but it was to convince him to upload it. He didn't mention that he was selling extra copies so I'd have to assume he sold those already at that point, but after convincing him to share the game he pretty much said something along the lines of "this is the last time" that he would deal with TM1 PC requests, so I don't think he'll be checking his TMA messages, so he's not really an option for you. I have no actual idea how many times Archminion has been asked about the game, but I assume it's a lot, considering the official copy of the game is super rare.
Also, as a collector's item it is not really worth as much as a TM fan would think. Sure, it's rare, it has notable differences to the PSX version, but it was made for the Windows 95 era and I don't believe it is highly valued in a monetary sense. If you do see it in an online shop it will probably cost you as much as TM2 PC does (around 50, max 100 dollars).
Part of the problem is that Twisted Metal never did good in the Japanese market and I'm sure TM1 PC barely sold there at all. I was not even aware the game existed until about 2001-2002. People knew TM2 PC existed before they knew TM1 PC existed. That's how rare it was.
