Well, I got it in the mail today and played it. It's actually pretty cool, but you are only able to play as either Sweet Tooth or Crazy 8 (both players can play as the same vehicle in multiplayer mode), and the battlegrounds take turns being either the junkyard or the suburbs. Here are some differences I found between this and the full version of the game (correct me if I'm wrong on any of these):
1. When a vehicle explodes, the driver does not come running out. Instead, you only hear him/her scream.
2. You can hear the plane fly overhead at the junkyard, but the plane is actually not there.
3. The CPU Sweet Tooth has a clear head on top of the truck instead of transparent (it's transparent for the player, though).
4. Yellow Jacket has TWO spikes extruding from each side of the cab, not one.
5. Roadkill's color is slightly altered. It's a bit blue in the Suburbs level, unless it's just the level's lighting.
6. The only vehicles that are actually in the game are Outlaw, Roadkill, Spectre, Yellow Jacket, Crazy 8, Sweet Tooth, and Axel. The rest are out. I saw so myself as I read through the disc's files.
7. There are only two environmental noises tracks for the Suburbs instead of three.
8. Only the battle music tracks of the Junkyard and Suburbs are played. However, I found the final enemy track for the Suburbs in the disc's files, but it was never used.
9. The behind-the-scenes video does not have the PlayStation Underground logo like in the video we've seen before. Plus, they no longer have the "Coming Summer 2001" text at the end of the video. Also, the video is slightly zoomed in; it could be in full screen.
That's all I can recollect from playing the demo. And here's the game ROM I promised.
