I hope you figure it out. If my PC was fast enough I'd do that too.

Just make sure you immediately quit the game once you win. The game will not play any of the cutscenes if you don't have the game disc inserted in your computer. Still, if you don't have the disc, it's still alright to play.

If you're curious about a game, go play it, and then you'll know how to feel about it. Popular opinion isn't always the best opinion for you.

Head-On had plenty of fans when it came out on PSP. I didn't own a PSP but from the times I played that version I thought it was pretty fun for a mobile game.

When the PS2 port came out I was excited to own the game especially with the extras thrown in, only to feel underwhelmed by how simplified the gameplay was in comparison to past TM games, and the extra features didn't make up for the lack of ps2 online play for the game. I also didn't really feel like it was the true sequel to TM2 that people who hated TM3 wanted for years. It got the world tour feature right and had nice art but the returning vehicles were shadows of their former selves and the tournament experience wasn't challenging enough & the side missions weren't good. The two new vehicles of the game (ATV and Cousin Eddy) are both forgettable entries in the series. Dark Tooth 2 doesn't have anywhere the impact that OG Dark Tooth had. The Tower Tooth boss battle sucked ass.
So yeah, my feelings are mixed on the game. It doesn't belong in a general "Top 3 Twisted Metal games of all time" list but I think it's better than TM on PS3 because HeadOn at least keeps the traditional tournament story format. It's debatable if Head-On even deserves credit as the true TM2 sequel, but since TMIII is de-canonized, why not I guess. Still just another underwhelming World Tour sequel to me though.

The cars in Head On had such low health that stuff like machine guns can deal a lot of damage. It is the strongest machine gun in the series. The online was addictive during it's time. I remember reading a long time ago that the game feels rushed and it was probably so that it can be a PSP launch title.

If it's true that Jaffe barely even cares about Twisted Metal anymore, it'd be nice if we could get his legal permission and whatnot to make our own Twisted Metal 3 one day Tongue

The extent of his caring for Twisted Metal & its small community seems to be re-using TMX songs for his new game & making sure everyone believes TMA is a shitty place to discuss TM  Grin

That may just so happen to depend on whom was wearing said underwear, or whom owns said underwear, and if it was clean.

Just asking that shows you haven't been around the block here to much. It's ok.

And it's no. Never clean, never mine, and always full of shit.

Oh I know, I was just joking. Never talk about those so-called "Twisted Metal" games around here.
