Well...the reason I stuck around was mostly the forums and the people in it, not the game. I was...utterly disappointed by the new Twisted Metal, but that does not mean I should hate the people who liked it. We've come a long long way together guys. I remember I was really upset when I found out that TMA was down, but I was glad I was able to find this small place when I fucking laughed my ass off. Mostly with XIZOR and Magnum. I repeat, it's really a pity that the community is on its last stand, but at least the good ones still remain.

I remember when this place was a one page petition (that I quickly signed) to save TM because the consensus then was that TM3/4 were steps in the wrong direction.
Then the walls n brawls came, but the site also had TM trivia, quizzes, fan art, fan fics, music, a chat feature, stuff that enhanced the TM2PC & TMBO experiences...
Ah well ,those were the days.
I don't dwell on the arguments. Feelings change, people over-react, or whatever.
Twisted Metal will likely return, and when that happens, I'm sure we will see funnier shit being posted at TMA.

Oh boy, I remember coming to TMA when it once had all the Twisted Metal Black movies so I could write down what they said in it (as well as when Argonaut Films used to be active and had all Twisted Metal Small Brawl endings as well as some TMB renders). Then...I think one of the things I remember the most is how this place used to have a completely different URL, something about the cookiemonster or shit like that. Good times...

I miss the good times. I try and try to keep brawl alive to no avail. All my brawl buddies had died off except for mags over there drinking my beer..

And well I plan on playing TMBO regularly once I'm able. Might be part of it.

I forgot I had this site as my default for IE. I was forced to move onto different pastures. Now I make a living off YouTube.

Nice to see some of you stuck around though. I suggest posting a MSpaint thread.

There are no free plugs here. Beer and bitches for me or GTFO.

Pretty much everything has been discussed at TMA. Fresh off of BOTW page #2! I didn't even have to go far!

I just do voice over work at this point. I was always good at running my mouth here, so I turned it into a career. Turns out there is a lot of work out there for assholes like me.

Not so much a plug as just catching up with what is left over here. Interesting reading some of the new stuff. The old drama is still pretty funny to reflect on too. I think I may have made a few enemies for life haha.

I'd blame the drugs. But to be honest I was just a hateful person. A few years away from TMA did me some good frankly.

Nice to still see you around Magnum. I can defiantly hook up the bitches these days, but you'll have to get live on the mic.

Seriously though how have you been?

I've actually watched a few of the videos you voiced over. You've got the voice for it.

SH8 YO!! I be lovin git on dah mic! Fo Realz?!?

It would totally destroy this country if I did. Maybe the apocalypse should wait. I dunno. Maybe have guaranteed money and accessible shower options with multiple strippers.

If anything, this place definitely taught someone how to brawl and talk shit. That was one of the most enduring things about this place. Thrillho obviously knew I was kidding. Mostly.

I'm doing fine dude. Wallowing in my own self destruction, bad karma, and a shitty vicious circle of reality.

Your obviously lucky getting bitches to draw porn at least. I still got to jack it with a courser over her face pretending it's my dick.

And yes.......it's that small so fuck off.

Glad to know you're still the same Mag. Out of all the people I was intentionally being a cunt to, you were one of the few who handled it like a grown ass man.

Though to be real I'm well done with fighting people and making enemies over opinions. Doing this new gig i've learned everyone has a right to speak their mind. Even if they're against everything I believe, agree with me on every level, or are simply shit stirring dicks. You gotta take the bad with the good and there is no point in getting emotional over words. I'm not in the business of changing anyone.

I think if It weren't for TMA. I wouldn't be prepared for the audience I've been talking to. One of the narrations is at 27 million god damn views. The death threats and fanboy/girl shit is endless, and rarely has anything to do with the topics I cover. It's like old school BOTW X 10,000 with no moderation.

It's easy to ignore the antagonistic shit and death threats though. The amount of fan porn people draw drowns all of that crybaby shit out. One person drew my character with a can of pringles up his asshole, and there has been a trend of people drawing demon babes with HB branded on their asses. I'm truly where i belong.

The offer still stands you're welcome to jump on the talk show i do on my own channel. It's not quite on the same level as the big dogs I'm working for. I only get a couple of thousand viewers there. But we can say anything and the audience is about what you'd expect with the kind of shit i produce.

I don't want to start a flame war, but since my PC broke down, I haven't been here for a while. When I came back, I read all that shit about the forums dividing in two: those who liked the 2012 TM and those who didn't. I also noticed something which is what caught my attention (and it is the question I advertised in the tittle of this thread): What happened to the original TMAlliance? Some  time ago I read on the main page (before entering the forums) something that read "The old TMAlliance is under construction, nothing will be lost!" or something along the lines of that. However, that seems to have disappeared this year (or last year) and now instead of "Join our temporary forums" you just read "Join the alliance now!". That means any plans to restore the fallen TMAlliance have disappeared? Is this really...dead?

I would almost want to say that TMA is on life support overall, what's keeping it alive is the true members that have stayed through the thick of it all like Mosh, Magnum, Archminion and others. TM 2012 has really split the community in more ways than one. You had those that hated the game and went on their own path with a few followers. You had those who was trying to defend and save what image that has been built for the community over a few years prior to that. Old members fighting old members and new members getting caught in the fray. It was a huge trainwreck.

Seeing the old TMA in it's former glory is very slim chance, I would want to think there'd have to be a few critical factors in mind for that to happen. But, I'd agree with anyone who have said that what happened during that TM2012 incident, greatly diminished this. I'm only speaking from recollection of back then, as I've been really out of touch with this community for a good few years with only a spark here and a spark there.

I'm actually surprised, but shouldn't be, that TMA at all is still around.

Oh, how nice! Now we get to hear about your youtube videos and fangirl porn instead of your wonderful bar.

For the record you weren't forced to do anything. You could of stopped being a giant vagina on your own free will at any time.

TM 2012 was a broken mess and was shallow compared to previous TMs. Now admit it, you fuck!

I've seen a few people now use the phrase "split the community". I really don't know where people are getting this information from. It didn't split the community, it just about killed it. There was a very low number of people that actually got some enjoyment out of the new game.

At this point the majority of that low number of people don't even play the game. Matter of fact I don't even know if there is 1 person left from that group that still plays it. Some of them have essentially admitted most of what the majority of TMA hated about the game was right.

What ended up finally killing TMA was the general douchery by Hellbent on BOTW. Then all the douchery by Hellbent and P7 on the TM board which was the cause of the "trainwreck".

I've had an account here since the Head-On era, but was never especially social during those days. I was managing my own little TM community that I ran for some years hosted on GameSpot when they had community hosting tools, but unfortunately died off just before the new game was announced and I could never really get it going again. I then just stuck to GameFAQs since I didn't like how TMA was largely unmoderated, and folks around here were bitching long before they even got their hands on the game. At least it was a lot more optimistic off the site.

Even then, there's been plenty of drama on both sides of the fence, and it really never helped that people have different creative interpretations of the game. Some are extremely closed minded and just gave up on the game, others stuck to the game longer but I'm sure left the series since it would have been extremely difficult to be a supporter on TMA at the time. TMA doesn't play anymore, but there's still a strong community around TM 2012, and most people aren't aware of it due to the split in the community. Lots of TM 2012 players have accounts here, but what'd be the point of ever posting here? It's like a Jew trying to make friends with the Westboro Baptist Church.

I'm one of the few who tries to pitch in and keep this place alive, because I do still believe that if another new TM comes around, things will pick up again and there'll be enough fresh blood to at least dilute the negativity. I still show my support for the series, and post videos showcasing the hidden depth in TM 2012. Everyone in 2012 sucked ass at the game. The competitive scene was mostly just spam wars and brainless crap for months, but these days you will practically accomplish nothing if all you can do is autoaim. It's pretty funny looking back to old threads with the arguments that would be had, to how uninformed they were and how players on both sides would really be nothing more than free kills if they played veteran matches in current day.
