"I miss the 20-30 regulars on this site from a few years back. It might not mean much to vets from the original TMA but I always appreciated BOTW for this community."
You know, the more I think about it, I think that was/is enough. It keeps things a bit more personal and interesting. Even though it wasn't quite the same as old TMA Brawl, looking through some of these old threads on here like the one you linked to (which had me in tears even years later) is exactly what Brawl was and is all about.
"Other than that thread, the Music one is my other favorite probably. It helped expose me to new genres and things."
Yeah, you, Deathstrikesback, and Innately gave me lots of new stuff to listen to. I totally miss that as I don't venture out a lot musically lately. I do thank you for your Haken recommendation though as they are probably one of my favorite bands now. They just keep getting better and better to me. Eagerly awaiting "H4ken" as they are jokingly calling it on facebook.
"4 desks and a walnut. Holy shit. I'll have to look for that post."
Umm...well since its posted in the reply directly above yours it should be pretty easy you blind fucking idiot!
"I wager most of you have better shit to do on a Saturday night. But it'd be fun to have you on."
Well link me to this show so I can at least see what I'd be dealing with.
A Brawl on the Wall live show or podcast would be the shit. Might be about 5-10 years too late for that to really become the internet sensation it should be, but who knows.
