Hi !

Never too late to join the community....
I am a great great fan of this awesome series.

I have started on the demo of TM1 while the PS1 was starting...

TMWT is my favorite game by really far on the PS1, although I hate SONY and the PS consoles..

I am glad to have found on EBAY recently a TMWT for 29€, and I am playing it with hysteria.. I can't stop !!!

I have currently a hot challenge, which is to complete the game in HARD with 2 lifes only with my favorite car only : ROADKILL.

Yesterday was a crazy attempt where I just lost against OUTLAW in HOLLAND, he was the last car to destroy and he just killed me while he had only 10-12% of his energy remaining..

Any serious tips/patterns to indicate me to solve the problem of Moscow and Holland stage ??

You need to use machine gun more and don't use sell your soul. In Twisted Metal 2 it sucks compared to Black. Having a lot of weapons is better. Learn to dodge homing missiles because they will spam you with that in Holland. Have you been using Minion's special in Holland? I think shield works better to avoid damage while you're attacking someone. Especially when you have two or more remote bombs and blow up a group of enemies. Roadkill's special is bad in Holland because it's hard to land the return damage on a non-frozen car. You will have to freeze someone and hope nobody else shoots you. Always kill Spectre first in Moscow and Holland.

And slam just because his freeze/special spamming is annoying as hell. But that matters most in Holland its really a level you don't want to get frozen alot on.

Yes.... I am constantly waiting for having my 90% energy to make one brutal offensive with Minion special + power + turbo + crash on the car... It can almost destroy a light car in once but then I am in a weak position with no more possibility to shield and escape... Undecided

Kill Spectre first.... Yes, I am just always thinking about that at every stages.. But sometimes following the dude takes time and you have to improvise to get shoot by other cars... Can use jump to avoid homing ?

You have to kill Spectre in Moscow and Holland first no exception. You can't have that car alive for a long time. Collect some homing missiles before going to Holland to use on Spectre. Using shield is better because you can do it two times and it cost less and a third one will come a few seconds later. When you have the shield up, fire whatever strong weapon you have like power missile/napalm + ram.

You can't dodge homing by jumping. You have to do a 180 degree turn if it's coming from behind.

I can now organize myself from Amazonia to cumulate around 50-60 turbo + 20~Homing/Power when I enter in Holland.

Antartica is stupid, I suppose you know the pattern to make this stage with no fight...Once 5 cars have fallen, I return on the main island to grab weapons just before entering Holland.

I have experienced this in Holland recently : no turbo = no initiative at all for fighting..

A more important question now : HOW CAN I MEASURE MY SKILL AGAINST YOU DUDES !!? I HEARD ABOUT AN ONLINE VERSION Cheesy

There's a really fast way to kill Minion so you won't have to waste a lot of turbos and weapons on him. When you see him coming, put a lot of landmines on the bridge and a remote bomb at the end. Minion will run over all the mines and get hit by the remote bomb. Another remote bomb should kill him. Just bomb yourself and him and he's dead. Shoot a homing if he survived. Go to 12:21 for the fast Minion kill.

Thanks but you forget that I use ROAD KILL.....
I can easily massacre him quickly with my specials.

I just sit in the box where you have 3 options.. When I have 5 specials, I trow them all to the exit when Minion is turning around.. He has no chance to survive this apocalypse of returning boomrangs Roll Eyes

But anyway, I must force myself to increase dramaticaly my level if I want to reach Hong Kong.. Thre are a lot of detaisl where I am still weak. I must learn to manage shield/freeze with more calm and organization.
(and I still forget to use machine gun..)

Your advices seem to really help me to better manage Moscow, but at my last attempt for holland, I have lost my 2 lives in 6-7 min... This stage really scares me so much that I lost my confidence and I play it really bad.

Reply #14 - 07/28/15 at 22:43:05 You can practice Holland by using the Antarctica password then turn on infinite weapon just to get 99 turbos. Turn it off and using sell your soul to remove the lightning. Collect the weapons in Antarctica and you can play Holland from there.
