This has to be some of the worst AI out of the entire series. Normal is way too easy. Anything above normal and it's instant sniper head shot. It makes no sense. Then ALL of them have classic Mr. Grimm personality where as soon as they get low health they run away to a distant part of the map. It's difficult to chase them since the others instantly swarm you (they managed to do good with that) always at the end of every game it's a sea of red health.

I don't know how I even managed to beat the game on twisted. I do recall spending unnecessary amounts of time playing the same shit over and over again just because of the head shots.

I don't go online anymore because of my low skill percentage. All of this equals me not playing much. Roll Eyes

They didn't have enough time to finish programming the AI since single player was rushed in. Yeah the sniper and the remote bomb glitch makes this game look like it has the hardest AI in the series. They can shoot the remote bomb through walls and that is a broken weapon in general. The only good thing about the sniper is it can kill Juggernaut fast.

Fans say this all the time but I don't know why.  ESP never said it was rushed. The game was  started around  February in 2008. Single player was decided  in  2009. The game came out in  February  2012. What  rush?

This was a big problem for a lot of developers. In all honesty ESP should of done a small game to get their feet wet first, but that's just a matter of opinion.

Well they did start with a small TM with only online and little to no AI, but then was told by Sony to make it bigger.

It's alwaya bugged me when  Jaffe referres to  "Calling All Cars" as a ESP  game it wasn't an ESP game at all.

It was a Incognito game for  PS3. They are different companies and while Incognito only made two  PS3 games both games ran  extremely well.

Yeah I remember seeing the Incog logo in CaC so I always wondered why he did that?

Just thought maybe the actual people who made the game became Incog while some of those who helped dev TMB/WOTM etc no longer remained at Incog long enough to join the ESP transition?

Just a thought...

Most of incognito became lightwave? Interactive. Esp was made up of other industry vets and a few people from single trac.

It's even more complex than that. A ton of the most skilled and influential went to Disney Interactive. They now make those Disney  Infinity games that kids love so much.  Some of them moved on to ESP, and some went to Lightbox.

We will  never see a Twisted Metal made by the old team again. At least, not like what we saw with  TMB.

The AI wasn't bad or very hard at all. The only problem is that, unlike previous games now everyone is agaist you. This would be a problem, if it wasn't for the awesome controls, the largest and colorful maps, the distructible enviroment and the other elements that makes the game so  good to be in my top 3 twisted metal games
