Twisted Metal 1/2 problem

I sincerely do not know if you support emulator discussions over these boards, but I have to solve this. I am not able to enable the music in these games. The games run perfectly well, nothing out of common with them, but I just can't get the music. I've tried every plugin, every CD-Rom plugin, Daemon Tools, Mooby's cd plugin, everything. What's the problem?

According to Wikipedia, nearly all PS1 Twisted Metal games contain CD audio tracks. That's probably the music you're not hearing.

If you created digital copies of your TM1/2 PS1 discs to play in a PS1 emulator, maybe the software you used to rip them didn't manage to copy any of their CD audio tracks. I'd recommend ripping them in BIN/CUE format. I believe you'll end up with one CUE file and two BIN files. One of the BIN files will probably contain game assets while the other will contain CD audio.

This isn't my area of expertise, so I doubt that I can be of any further help. But hopefully this knowledge and some online research will help put you on the right track Smiley.

You have to rip these games to mdf to retain the cd audio tracks. A normal bin/cue or iso will not retain the cd audio causing no music. You will also have to mount these games with daemon tools or similar for most emulators.

Still doesn't work. Converted the .bin files to MDF and MDS. Mounted them with Daemon Tools Lite, used the built-in CD-Rom thing in ePSXe to link it with Daemon tools, tried every sound plugin and the music still doesn't play in TM1.
