If you're going to use a midweight/lightweight on Skid Row, you've basically got to play with the mindset of staying out of the action, spamming, and taking the extra time to collect the stronger weapons from the roofs to make your moments in combat more impactful. Otherwise, you should just use a heavyweight if you're going to stay on the streets and absorb damage. But even the lighter classes do have their uses in packed lobbies, especially if they can streak. Resources are so limited on that map that having somebody on a streak with duplicating weapons (especially napalms and power missiles) can be the difference maker. However, you have to play with that selfish mindset from the start, since the rest of your team on the streets will take more abuse due to your general absence while you build it up. I'm willing to be a tank and be poached by someone I know is capable of pulling that off, but since I used to be Death Warrant main back in the day, I'd usually be the one who carried out the streaking role. About a week ago I played a Skid Row TDM with Death Warrant even though I rarely used that vehicle these days (because I didn't have time to change, and started with machine guns as well). I managed a 14-0 game with 2819 DD and 1072 DR. But as of late, I usually play heavies on the streets and try to absorb as much damage as I can to give my teammates more freedom, since I know I'm capable of negating a lot of that damage just by feasting on health mercies and pacing myself so I'll be alive for when the health cycles come around. I've played games where I've taken zero deaths with over 2000 DR in Warthog, and considering how resources are so limited, absorbing those weapons while not allowing points to be scored is a really effective role, and if you can deal decent amount of damage in the process, you're golden.
