I was using Shadow and when I rammed Death Warrant, it show two rams and when I point-blank him with one shotgun, it show two of them. The announcer even said point-blank twice. Has this ever happen to anyone else?

It's possible it is only with Shadow, but I really doubt it.  Could have been a Network hiccup or something.

That isn't an uncommon occurrence, in both offline and online modes. To my knowledge it's just a run-of-the-mill glitch, and I've experienced it with a variety of attacks and vehicles. Heck, I've even gotten two messages upon killing a vehicle multitudes of times. It occurs even more frequently in online modes though, due to additional issues with server lag. Basically, it detects a weapon hitting a vehicle once in the location that the opponent appears according to the console, and once according to where the network locates the player when the two of them aren't properly synced. Getting a double hit is still not especially common though, since server lag causes weapons to not register whatsoever far more often than it does for a double hit.
