TMB:O Revival?

If I were to get Twisted Metal Black Online, would any of you guys hop online through Kai or whatnot and play online? I have a PS2, ethernet cable and a laptop to bridge the connection, I just need to know if there are enough people to play online with.

Second question is, if there are people willing to play, how many people per lobby can there be when playing through Kai, etc.?

My PS2 broke recently unfortunately so I have to wait awhile before I can play again. And to answer your 2nd question, up to 8 players.

Thanks! I'm looking into copies of the game now. I doubt I will be on until mid-June, maybe earlier. I have a bunch of finals and stuff going on and school gets out the 7th of June.

I brought it to mess around with the offline and see the differences.

Reply #7 - 07/26/13 at 17:51:10 yep you need to setup network settings before you can even get to the main menu for TMBO. Ps2 did online a bit different and not as straight forward as this generation. Best you can do offline for tmbo is host a lan match and have 2 bots fighting you... but can use whatever you want and see the car changes and shit quite well.

You probably wouldn't be able to use the save. My understanding is the network save created uses information specific to the PS2 console it was created on. You may be able to edit the information with some tools, but I'm not 100% on that. Maybe Aced could provide some insight into this.

Each individual network setting config is unique to the console and isp when its made. I had to make a new config when I got a new PS2 months ago, couldnt use the same config on two consoles. BTW i come back home tomorrow, so games are back on this saturday
