Darforce, you certainly are a genius; you have to be. You deserve the Nobel Prize of Twisted IMO. I just can't wait to see the vids! Smiley

Here is a taste of some in-game footage from the TMB Review game.
You should notice some changes right off the bat. I believe the music is a little different for some levels and I'm pretty sure you'll notice the difference with the Tooth mans special. There are more differences, but I'll let you guys spot them.

I went around and found all of the PEDs I remember, but I couldn't find the one of the dog. I guess I could of been seeing things... possibly a graphical glitch of some sort.

Couldnt resist.

...

Differences:

ST cone special shoots... like 29 missiles? Normal TMB = 20, TMBO = 10. And they fired from only one arm of ST.

Level select pictures are different, some better.

Some sound of ST laughing plays when level loading... and game intro looks different (incognito). Font slightly different.

Enviro attack in burbs seemed to reach REALLY high

New peds. Old lady, old man, lady in dress.

Sweet tooth, it says he's 39 but in the final game it says his age is unknown. I wonder why they changed that.

*EDIT: Warthog has his original name, White Knight.

I wish they had kept all the ped models in the final game. The old man w/ cane made my day lol I was cracking up at Sweet Tooth running him over. The dark humor definitely exudes with those different peds & makes all the difference in how it contributes to the vibe of the game. I like the hospital much more with those patients rolling themselves around in wheelchairs; the sick humor should never have been so wasted by not including them in the end.

It's certainly cool to see after all of these years, but from an artistic standpoint I have to totally disagree.  If they had kept too many of those examples in the game suddenly causes you to focus more on the environment rather than the other cars, making the Black world feel more like a real place rather than the dream like place it feels like.

So no, no way.  I realize you like blood and guts and so, for you, just throwing that in is ALWAYS better but I like it how it was.

Edit:  Likewise, it's also better they left out Sweet Tooth's age.  Just like the Joker from "The Dark Knight," when things become unknown it feels creepier.  Your brain keeps wondering and trying to fill in the blanks.

I think i recall seeing in the ST story vids, one of the newspapers said the year was 2023. So this is like the most futuristic TM game too.

A PS2 Critical Depth would have rocked.

Perhaps it could be simulated with TMBO in Downtown with the right gameshark code thanks to all this data about the internal mechanisms.

Warhawk (Black Razor) seems to have quite a bit more of his "code" left over in this game, but his vehicle still doesn't function like the other vehicles do. His vehicle is stuck in one spot for the levels he does load into, and you can't seem to cycle through the weapons bay. I guess they just hadn't progressed that far with him and or he was pretty much junked at this point.

Edit: There are a few things to try in the future, but I don't have high hopes for getting him working.
Edit #2: NVM, here ya go.
