Doofyjoo was an alias that eakius and i created to troll the servers, and we ran into stitches that night - we played several 1vs1.
Ah yes . . . those early 2002 - 2003 matches were always fun.

I think the SCEA guys were the [FAHQ] clan right? Pretty sure there was a Capt[FAHQ] or something that literally destroyed my TMBO life like no other . . . Capt literally steamrolled me to the point where I wanted to quit out (which I've never done from what I can remember).
Anyways, outside of a few games in the beginning of my days I had one match that really stood out and hopefully he remembers it. . . . Kilrahi seems genuinely surprised and goes "oh, I figured you'd leave and tell everyone you beat me" or something along those lines lol. I was happy, and I think he was too . . . truly my most favorite 1v1 experience in the game. I'd like to think we've been friends.
Yes, FAH-Q were SCEA testers and for the first six months of the server life they were top dogs.
I do remember those one on ones. They were a blast, and yes, good times since then. It's too bad we both couldn't sink our teeth in the new game as it would have been fun. You're always welcome back on Kai though.

As for the Kilrahi and Stitches "hate" on TMA back in those days... quite a bit of us had problems with the brothers. I'd like to say I'm proud to be #1 on their hate list . . . Some of it they both deserved though, I mean, I always felt the two talked down to everyone in TMBO chat . . . then the hate would flow towards me later that night for having spoken bad about the two in public,I think in the end it's safe to say... most, if not all of us have grown up and perhaps now we all realize even more, just how much fun we had playing TMBO.
Hold on . . .wha . . .WTF?
Damn it to hell Dark, why what are you trying to say there? It's like I shared Thanksgiving dinner with you and then you walked up and pissed in my taters!
If anything throughout TMBO's history it was
far more you and me against the world rather than you and the world against me.
I always saw the conflict as pretty specific. As dumb as it sounds, it was easy to draw a line in the sand and say it was TCT/>< vs. INV. Those are pretty big groups of people. Then of course there was the constant TMB vs TM2 arguments which were fun.
Most of INV left in 2003, and those who remained played just fine with us. By 2007, FOUR years later, all of that old crap had long ended and no longer felt relevant to any of us on the server.
You, by the way, were never "#1" on my hate list. Just an FYI there.
Anyway, I just look back on it all as good fun.
