Time to resurrect this old post of mine.

I just wanted to let everyone that's still interested know that Pixel: ruČ (a game made by 3 people at TMA) is on Steam:

http://store.steampowered.com/app/351170/

If you'd like to see what the game's like, here's the latest trailer:

I know several of you votes for us on Greenlight.  Thank you.

I took a legitimate interest in the game this time around after watching the new video. I installed and registered with Steam and everything to play the demo.

Either there's more of a learning curve than appears, or I'm just that awful. Granted I'm a console junkie and haven't played on PC in forever. I played Warcraft 3 a decade ago.. but I can't seem to get past the first obstacle.

A video is worth a million words

Edit: O yeah if anyone knows a good desktop recorder, preferably free, plz let me know.

You can jump with the spacebar.  You might want to look at the controls setting to see the other keys as well.

The game does have a learning curve, mainly because it's a lot of simple systems mixed together that results in a complex looking game.

We have a guide here:

We use Fraps for recording footage from Pixel (there's a free version).  I can't tell if the game is running bad or if it's the recording software.  If it is running bad, here's a post with helpful information related to performance:

Thank you for checking it out!  Please let me know what you think.

The game is running perfect. It was that awful desktop recorder that didn't even have sound Grin I didn't have any troubles with installing or anything. DirectX took a little while. By little I mean 2-3 minutes.

Fraps is also working great. The free version only allows 30sec intervals, but it's great software.

This is turning out to be a cool little game. It fits my situation quite well at the moment. My gaming life has been suffering tremendously for awhile now. Besides playing some already owned games every now and then, it's been basically nothing, and lately I've been getting a craving for virtual interaction. This helps with that and it's also great to start playing on the pc again.

My opinion on the game so far is it's very cool. The music goes perfectly with everything and those interesting facts also go with everything pretty good. Thanks for sharing Smiley
