I like Talon in Ranked games, he adds substantial diversity. He isn't hard to kill afterall, removing him would be gravely disappointing to me.

It's pretty damn annoying to kill talon when he backs you into a corner and you don't have ranged weapons or a limited special.

Meatwagon, warthog and axel can't touch Talon. Crimson Fury and Kamikaze can't touch talon depending on range. Roadboat's magnet doesn't work on talon. Shadow is hard to use against talon. Junkyard Dog's taxi toss is like a 50% chance of a hit.

Mounted guns, shotguns, laser pistols and magnums are almost useless against talon.

There should be a limit to how many people on a team can use talon and how many lives talon should have.

One game it was 7 vs 5 I was on the team with the 5. Well the team with 7 people had 3 or 4  fucking talon users on the Diablo Pass map. It was an absolute nightmare. There shouldn't be more than 2 per team.

I imagine that second player is him split screening tooth. So while he plays as Talon he can use his player 2 controller to aim his sweet tooth at a particular vehicle he needs distracted or wants to knock down on health a little. Kind of like having a second special weapon.

Your friend has gotten so good at camping he can play as 2 vehicles at the same time. That would be impressive if it wasn't one of the most cowardly strategies I've ever heard of. I hesitate to even call it strategy because while he is technically controlling both vehicles at once he probably puts in about 75% as much actual gameplay effort as a normal player puts into the game. It's like the laziest possible way to play TM and get a good score.

Next time that happens just pick Sweet Tooth and rape his Sweet Tooth. Of course chances are he'll just ignore it entirely and keep sniping and abusing the remote bombs.

I imagine he has that set up in case someone tries to Talon duel him. So he can keep pressure on his Talon opponent by firing ST specials at them. That way he can drain your AA bar, damage you, or force you to avoid it while he grabs more weapons, turbo, and health.

The reason Talon sucks is because they developed him to fight people in the game with his speed and all. But it's really just used to optimize your attack runs so that it's impossible to actually hit you. As well as staying far enough away from the battle that you can do things like abuse the sniper and remote bombs while waiting for a player to get separated from the herd and rape him with overstocked arsenal.

There aren't any good Talon players really. Just people who got good at exploiting Talon, snipers, and remotes. As well as evidently abusing the Split Screen with Sweet Tooth to help ensure anyone with better skill as Talon has even less of a chance of beating him.

These are the worst online gamers. Even worse then cheaters. They find a cheap thing that works and stick to it under the assumption that because it's in the game it's part of the rules. Like if there were an exploit like that in a professional sport that it wouldn't have been eradicated years ago.

For instance if they played Baseball and the only penalty for hitting a player with the baseball is that he's replaced with another batter. Then they would intentionally beam the players they can't beat. Then call it strategy and not cowardice.

Yup that figures. With his second controller sitting there as Sweet Tooth charging up specials he probably always has 3 of them to fire off at any Talon that comes after him. Plus by then he's likely got a killstreak going so even if you fought him as Talon he'd have Red Mega Guns and probably a huge stock of homing and fire missiles from the killstreak multiplier.

The trick would be to go after his Sweettooth using Gas Cans and Ricos since they are common and do 55 and 40 damage respectively. Power missiles would be ideal so you could kill him fast. That way you can get easy kills and he'll only be able to control 1 vehicle at a time to try and stop you.

Of course that isn't actually fun. So it's not really worth it in the sense that his character with the Talon takes no stat hits. I'm real sure if you went after his Sweettooth he'd just ignore it. You'd need both someone to play as Talon and another person to abuse his idle Sweettooth.

This is the reason games shouldn't allow split screen online. In every single one of them there is a way to abuse the game. As if it wasn't a big enough advantage to have 2 screens you can see at once.

He's charging up specials to use on anyone who picks Talon to root him out of his camping position. That way he can exploit the game even further so that if someone picks Talon he won't have to legitimately fight them 1 versus 1.

He doesn't care if you kill his ST. He's just worried about his Talon dying. The ST is there to make it so other Talons can't chase or fight him. Probably to preserve some kind of no death streak.

Good thing the game keeps track of your stats. You won't ever see a person with deaths in the single digits who doesn't camp as Talon. So any point about bragging is lost in the sense that he can only play as 1 vehicle.

In no way is Talon's hp exorbitant especially when compared to Reaper's 90 being only a handful of missiles short of it. Talon may do 150 damage with the tri-gun, but that's over a considerable time period.
