Ok guys, instead of dwelling about the game how it needs to be fixed and the fact the community is dying, we need to be more VOCAL about the things that are ruining this game.

I can assure you that the people in charge of TM are going to be reading this thread. That being said, please list things in BULLET POINT STYLE ONLY. No long paragraphs, stories, arguing, or anything that will lose the readers attention. Just state facts, please repeat already stated points if it applies to YOU too. This is about YOUR problems with TM.

Heres what plagues TM for me:

*Connection issues. Not getting into games on first try and getting the "Unable To Join" messages when joining certain rooms. Some rooms will not let me join no matter how many times I try.

*Games crashing. This happens to me 1 in every 4-6 games. I will also see others crash with the disconnect symbol over their vehicle. I will have to reset my ps3 everytime.

*When I host a room, I will get booted (not crashing or freezing) from the servers about every 3-5 games.

*We desperately need an auto-start or switch hosts if they do not make a change in a certain timeframe.. Rooms will die off because a person does not realize they are host. This is a massive waste of time and very frustrating to say the least.

*Sometimes weapons and turbo do not show up in inventory when driving over them. The item will disappear and it will read when the item is, but does not show up in inventory.

*Sometimes weapons do not register when they hit the opponent. This happens especially with Reaper without using freeze first, mostly when moving fast.

*Talon in ranked games. This is very frustrating for players that want to compete. A good Talon just completely ruins the game when he is in a room. He has an advantage over every single vehicle in the game.

*Shadows alternate special. The damage radius and damage done needs to be reduces drastically. If not, reduce his Health and his speed/handling.

*Eliminate flying SweetTooth. He too has an advantage over everyone else. He can fly away when he needs health and can access parts of the maps cars cannot. Also people are still flying and spamming mega guns.

*Remote Bombs. Eliminate the fact that remote bombs can fly through substrates and also eliminate the ability to self stick. If you are unaware, you can self stick a remote bomb to yourself and drive up to one or more and detonate it to cause 75 damage for each vehicle close. This is cheap and unfair.

*Traffic. Traffic is a cool idea but often creates problems for smaller vehicles. Maybe reduce the amount of power it takes to move car in traffic?

*Lag Switchers. Somehow identify lag switchers or people with poor connections and boot them from game.

*Boosters. Somehow identify when a certain vehicle has not drove a certain amount of miles or damage done vs. damage received. Many people create other accounts to splitscreen and kill their bait car for easy kills and points.

*Lack of DLC. Enough said.



Again, please do not just add to my list, make your own. Sony needs to see that other people are experiencing the same issues.

The game poorly syncs up with PSN, the vast majority of problems are that.

The PARTY system is messed up & causes NE problems. I notice sometimes I can get in a room I couldn't get in at all when I switch into or out of Party mode.

IDLE players should be auto-kicked by the game, that would solve the booster problem. I suggested this awhile back when people were asking for auto-start.

Talon, & ST should be restricted vehicles (limited) in DM/TDM.

The Leaderboards should go down. It's bullshit. Some guy magically got no.1 with over a billion points in XP in just one night... a guy who only played 17 games and got 351 kills this week. What the fuck is that? Is the LB just broken or did someone hack the LB?

Another problem is that it takes too long to wait for 6 people. I have to use my splitscreen just to give a room I host a chance of starting. If it was only 4 players for a start, this wouldn't be an issue, but most people don't have the patience to wait for a match to start, especially when most players are selective about the mode & map choice.

Anyway, that's all I feel like mentioning for now.

I still have love for the new game regardless and there are some genuinely epic fun moments but I'm with Tyrant.

I don't want to go as far as say the game is dead (it averages out around 50-100 players on at any one time which is a tiny but pretty constant community, so far at least) but I only see a slight chance of saviour when the price comes down to bargain bin point.

And we all have to be realistic here guys. There is small rumblings of another patch but seriously the longer they take to implement it the less relevant it becomes.

This is also likely to be the deciding factor whether the game comes to the PSN DL service as well.

At least Sony have had the grace to not release it as-is as that would just feel like a slap in the face and further proof that they deny there are problems.

At least this way they appear to be acknowledging the issues and are either trying to keep the thing less mainstream (BAD) or are genuinely looking into another fix? (GOOD).

Either way I am satisfied to just get into a game every now and again...

The remote mines are an issue! They go through walls whilst homing in on a locked-on target; either homing needs to be fixed by sticking to buildings and terrain if impeded by such items of mass enroute to target,   or expunge the homing entirely.

Rolling and flipping can be a nuisance as well. Some vehicles can take an exaggerated amount of time to restabilize after flipping or even bouncing. Some of the interactive physical properties of the cars are just slightly awkward. Rather it can be fixed or not, it must be mentioned.

Sometimes, Reapers flaming chainsaw special won't register a hit on enemies especially when I'm moving at full speed at extreme angles of attack; as many others experience obviously.

The identity of the network and host issues are completely and unanimously recognized amongst the community, auto-kicking non-active hosts and other dormant players as well as sync and connect fluidity needs refinement.

If I may say for the record, there should have been more variety of specials and uniqueness in every vehicle. Ultimately, there was still a lack of customizatiom with the vehicles and weapons despite the sidearms mechanic beeing added. No DLC wich could have helped fix the mundane vehicle diversity killed all hope to save this game.

A deeper level-up  and reward system with a less linear storyline would have helped too.

As for Sweetbot & Talon mentioned in the opening post: I really don't think the vehicles themselves are catalytic to the gameplay, the pick-up locations play major roles in mega-gun spamming, of course people here have their own theories on the flying vehicles debate. I'd agree with limiting how often they can be chosen in a single match if anything else.

As for traffic being mentioned in the opening post as well: Traffic in the level design is a skill based obstacle and has been traditionally utilized in TM for years and is optional in the new game, so there's no reason to dissent on it.

Shadow's special may be slightly over-powered and prone to some abuse, that much is correct, but vehicle stats themselves beside the special weapon stats don't need to be diminished.

The fact that there is no rear-view in this game is substandard for TM, not really a fix but worth mentioning.

It also is disappointing to observe that the sniper rifle doesn't actually cause the enemy's tire to blow out temporarily, another note I want to merely mention.

Woah what did he do to piss you off? He can want anything. We got ramming back and i thought we lost that after TM2. I agree some of them are very lofty dreams though.

Anyways i'd just like to see them iron out the networking. It's about as hard to get everyone into the same room as it was in Gears 2.

I'd also like to see Talon removed from ranked.

It would also be cool if they had put a relics type of mutator thing in the game. But that is more of an issue with the game's lack of content beyond the raw multiplayer and cinematic's.
