It's actually not that difficult to give yourself mod or admin status via logging in as the webmaster.

Whether you write your own PERL script or find some easy-mode copypasta on the web, it shouldn't be too much trouble for you. Once you've downloaded 100% of the user-base data (it'll be encrypted in an MD5 hash), then you just---wait, why am I trying to get banned?

Someone (most probably Blair) had already hacked into admin accounts and deleted them, a few years ago. Also, I think a complicated forum script like this uses more than only md5. Probably some bizarre combination including md5 and sha1 encryption.

Try to do cookie manipulation. It's probably easier.
