That is pretty awesome. My b-day was on the 24th and oddly enough I got a guitar too, though mine was an acoustic.

I still need an electric someday. Maybe next year.

lol.. I have kinda spoiled my kids. They each have tons of video games and their own consoles as well (Xbox360, PS2, PSP, etc.)

My son has played all the Guitar Hero and Rock Band games over the years and he's ended up bored on "Expert" and he's been really interested in learning to play real guitar for a while now. When he learned of Rocksmith coming out, he began to talk about it a little more so I figured I'd get him the guitar kit and he'd probably get Rocksmith with birthday money he received -- which we're about to go pick up today.
