I sort of hope that patch 1.6 isn't happening anyway since I'm worried that it might break more stuff instead of fixing it.

Has anyone else heard any news on this?

Maybe they lost interest and canned the patch?

If that's the case I'll start playing again and accept the game as-is and try to make an effort to actually get good at it now...

The last bug introduced the host freeze issues, and also a nasty frame rate hicup/freeze for me in 60% of my games, making them unplayable. I hadn't played in a month cause I don;t want to be freezing u my PS3, and first game back last night I'm getting the framerate latency hicup where 15 frames freeze and drop out of every 200 or so, making driving and firing impossible, especially with fast cars.

At this point it'd just be happy with zero freezes / framerate issues and the damn trophies fixed. I won't be buying another ESP product, thats for sure.

Sad to see Twisted Metal getting visual (video of the game plus sweettooth) space on their event stage (E3 presser), yet Sony has given the new TM title almost ZERO support since launch (let's face it).

It's been a afterthought in the launch of the PSV and the online has more issues now than when it launched for most people. SDQA keeps pushing out bad updates.

Come on Sony. If you;'re going to play TM trailers and throw ST all over the place, support your damn IP!

I know this is unpopular to say, but I don't think any of it is Sony's fault.

I also think they've given it as much support as they should.

But EvilEd is correct, it doesn't really fit in with the whole speed aspect of this game. Gas cans are more appropriate to match the maneuverability of the cars. The napalm was relatively slow and had a strange arch to it.

I kind of liked gas cans in TMBO. I knew they were a relatively undodgeable weapon.. so getting 2-4 of em in your inventory was a definite plus.

I wouldnt mind a hybrid of the two...

maybe something that eats up turbo or causes fire damage over time.
