That's the only change I've noticed. I only realized it after going back to the PSX version after so long.

You might think that Thumper was top tier because of TM2PSX. The PC version of Thumper was nerfed simply because rather than putting lets say 80 points of damage over the course of 7 seconds (PC), they made it 80 points of damage in about 4 seconds in the PSX version. This just meant the damage came faster and it was harder to get out of. He was ridiculous in PSX.

Really? Neat! Yeah, I play the PSX version, so that is why XD

The shield is at 0:55. It really is long. By listening to the sound, the length of the shield is 9 sound effects longer. The PSX has 6, while the PC has 15.

TM2 PC looks so good compared to the PSX version, I'm impressed!

What are your thoughts on Manslaughter? I think he was a very poorly designed character. So much armor and such a ridiculously easy to use and damaging super, and his only drawback is being big and somewhat slow, but in TMB, "slow" isn't really that slow.

TM2PC also RUNS a fuck ton better than the PSX version. I swear to god half the time TM2PSX runs at about 12 frames.

-------------

MS in TMB is a "very good" car. His special does around 42 damage total?

MS in TMB: Online... is a fucking beast car.

27 seconds special regeneration: fastest regen for ANY car in the game. A full close range rock special can one-shot many cars (120 Near-INSTANT damage). Freeze + Ram + Rocks + Machine Guns = death

The special can be hurled from a very far distance, has amazing spread, and travels well over most terrain and bumps. Hell the rocks can even be planted with rear fire for a devastating trap.

He has a shit ton of armour and his handling is pretty decent, with a good amount of drift to slide.

In TMBO, he has this nasty glitch where sometimes if he uses a shield other people do not see a shield on him. So sometimes you think your freeze/weapon will have landed on Manslaughter, but in actuality he is shielded. Usually the last second of the shield will appear. This glitch helps MS quite a bit. Doesn't always happen, but its the only car in the game this glitch happens with. Unsure if the glitch is present in regular TMB.

His one drawback in our team games is that its very easy to accidentally murder your own teammates. 3v3 and 4v4 especially. Since there is friendly fire... you have to be very careful when aiming.

But in the hands of a pro, MS is a fantastic team car that can setup other teammate's specials/weapons, as the rocks cause significant knockback... or he can complement another teammate's attacks on a frozen enemy. Usually: rocks + another teammate's special = dead enemy.

Great car in TMB, but like many cars in TMBO, he got upgraded to fuck shit up even more. So yes, not balanced whatsoever Smiley But im ok with that.

The glitch is not in TMB. The shield is visible in two player split screen.

I think the glitch occurs because the shield is supposed to cover his back area, but sometimes the animation fails to show it. And it doesn't happen every time. Im unsure if distance causes it.

Neat how well made the car model hit boxes are, there is an empty space between Manslaughter's cab and his dump trailer (dunno if proper name), and you can shoot machine guns through that spot, even some weapons like flamethrowers go through. Its not just a homogenous blob hit box.
