I don't think healths will be that huge of a problem, The only full health in the game is the semi, and you can always blow that up ( I don't know if respawns or not) (hopefully not) and all you have left are the minis which in the tm univerise usually only fill 30 percent of the health bar.  But in this TM it seems like there a shit ton of more weapons at your disposal to stop a fleeing car...and there's no option to cloak, so its not like cars and disappear from radar and make a health run....Not to mention its pretty hard to dodge a homing missile when running away.

I wouldn't say there is no cloaking for sure at this point. Could have just been absent from e3 demo build.

health pick-ups might not be bad, depending on how you can, as a host, set it up. I think one, non-regenerating, 50% health per match might be pretty fun.. as long as it randomly spawns every time, that way there's no camping it out. and it could be rewarding if, for example, you're kicking the shit out of a bunch of noobs so badly, they gang up on you. it'd be fun to spoil their pussy parade by nabbing a health pick up

just a thought..

I think the new health trucks were put in for the sole purpose of making it harder to get health.

And from what I've seen it is pretty hard to get into them.

I think that health pickups add an element to the gameplay thats good. Its just they shouldn't regenerate as they could be farmed and become cheap. Two random spawns per match would be fun (Depending on the game style of course) it allows for you to make a mistake or two and still be able to win by finding a pickup.

Obviously full healths are kind of cheap and so are ones that continue to spawn in the same areas over and over again.

well, there wasn't a dpad option to use cloaking, and none of the other buttons do that... i'll die when cloaking is spectre's secondary special tho

Or perhaps there might be loadouts in some fashion. You could choose a few Advanced attacks, but are limited to three for the D-Pad.....

Well I think I remember jaffe talking about different energy loadouts as you rank up in online. None of them would be OP compared to what u already have, just give you different options. So you never know what is in store.

About the loadouts: I have more recently heard Jaffe state that the loadouts will just stay unique to each vehicle (as in the turbo bar/ weapon bay limit etc).

It might mean you'll get a different set of starting weapons?

Every TM has started you with a 'loadout' of sorts but it's never been more than the a couple of Fire missiles and a Napalm or something.

So I think that will still happen but maybe it's just a different set for each car.

(Theoretically Thumper might start with Napalms and Grasshopper might start with Mines- that sorta thing?)

I think it would be cool if the health trucks worked like killstreaks.  Kill three people without dying and the health trucks will lower their doors for you.  If you don't, you just can't enter them.  Still gotta chase em though.

I actually like that idea. it'd keep the health farmers from.. well.. farming lol, and make them get into a fight. but I can also see this making kill thieves out of ppl, just camping outside of a fight and when the health bars go red, they unload..

I also like the idea of car-unique weapon loadouts at the start. that'd give the cars/drivers a lil more personality since that was kinda stripped away with the drivers no longer being tied to a certain car. that's really gonna take some getting used to on my part

The loadout idea would also reflect how the CPU drivers would play in TM1 and 2, where they favored certain weapons.  Thumper with napalm, Warthog with mines, Sweet tooth with ice cream and homing missiles.

And ya you would have kill stealers, but you have kill stealers in every game.

I think it would be cool to see how long of a killstreak you could get in a twisted metal game.

Or maybe the "killstreak" is relevant to the game.  For instance one missile launch in nuke, 100 points of damage in damage, kills in LMS.

I always liked the cpu unique car weapon sets.
Made it very fun as you always had to handle every enemy car different.

Health pick-ups wouldn't be a problem if they are in fixed places and don't respawn at random weapon spawn placements where a player could accidentally pick one up. That was what would happen in TMBO all the time if I remember correctly?

I would rather there be an option to just turn them off as I don't think they are necessary, but I'm pretty sure I'm going to be playing with mostly TMA'ers who know the rules and will play fair so either way I'm not stressing about it.

Probably been mentioned already but there's to much to sift back through: Ltd health regen?

Maybe the option to have each fixed health appear only once (or max of 3 times during any one match).

It'd be less annoying since players would know there is an end to it.
