I didn't mean breaking the news as in letting everyone know a new TM was being made. Everyone knew that, DUH! I just meant if I would have known that morning I could have told everyone to prepare for the Sony press conference and new Twisted Metal reveal. Would have taken some of the surprise out of it, but at least everyone could have tried to work their schedule around being apart of seeing it for the first time.

You would be surprised at how many people own or have played Twisted Metal, which is funny because the community ends up being so small. I think people pick it up, play through it and put it down for something else.

I prefer a smaller community to be honest. I enjoy the intimacy of it and getting the chance to know people. That's what made TMBO so great for me and that's what makes TMA so awesome. There isn't a million faceless people milling around.

exactly. I actually remember names here, whereas other forums I'm on, like the Cavi forums where there are 15,000 ppl, I only know a few ppl and thats mainly cause I know them in real life too.. or play Xbox with them. this forum is much more personal.. which is why you guys are legitimate friends rather than forum members

In all honesty, making a new Twisted Metal is the smartest moves Sony has made since creating Kevin Butler. So many people out there have played a Twisted Metal game before and it's a big part of their gaming past. But it's been so long since the last one so alot of them have moved on to other consoles, namely the Xbox 360. But now that a new Twisted Metal by David Jaffe is coming out, alot of them are going to buy a PS3 just so they can play it.

I have to agree. Being that I work at Gamestop, while the reveal of the new TM hasn't created a huge buzz, I have heard quite a few people talking about the franchise again and being excited for a reboot. The most common thing people say is, "yeah, I grew up with Twisted Metal so it has sentimental value", or something along those lines.
