I'd realy enjoy if they'd implement the first person view from TM1 again, with the actual Steering Wheel etc.

But I doubt that's going to happen.

Defianetly glad it's a one button AA selection instead of a combo put in. It was always aggrivating when you goofed it up and got ass raped. Knowing my luck with as much as I drink, I'l still fuck up the one button AA. Steering with the anolog stick was always better to me anyway.

Fall damage I don't really think should be used unless it's a really high fall. Should be death if it's really rediculously high. I'm sure they'll get that right. It'd be crazy like Gardian said about worrying about every little thing you bump into. That'd be to much BS.

I also agree that the T rating will make the game more marketable. I do understand the point of having an "M" rating would be awesome but....the name of the game is money. You have a broader market if you make the game a T. TM wouldn't have a problem selling at all of course. Even with an M rating. It's just it'd sell MORE with a T, because you can advertize in more places.

I'm really sure alot of us are going to be trying to see just how much we can make a Talon player pay. I've been thinking the same thing.

I though I heard Jaffe muttering something about first-person view and not having enough memory for it in the Nuke demo with Campbell.  It was hard to hear because other people were talking at the same time.

Will they make it for the Xbox like Bioshock made it for PS3 later in the year.

I love the TM games and all I use to buy was Playstations, but then Xbox was cheaper for awhile so I bought that and now I hear about this.

If I had the money I would buy a PS3 it's way better then Xbox, but I'm 18 and don't have that type of money.

Please some one give me hope.

This game looks AMAZING!!!

Twisted Metal is owned by Sony. You will NEVER see it on a Microsoft console.

Personally, I don't want them to share it. I like Twisted Metal kind of being underground and not a huge title.

The best games are exclusive games.

Mass Effect, Gears, Uncharted, Killzone, and Warhawk all come to mind.  If you are doing multiplatform, you are sacrificing ultimate quality for bi-partisism.  Example, you are painting the Mona Lisa.  You can paint one for 2 years and it be brilliant, or you can paint 2 for 3 years and they both look great but the polish isn't there because it isn't one of a kind and time spent making both versions equal could have been spent on raising your own bar.  Uncharted 2 is the most amazing example of this.

The only thing about the T rating is there will probably be more than the usual amount of little fucking annoying brat kids playing the game. This isn't a big deal at all being as that means lots of fresh noob meat so devour and feast on, muhahaha. Thankfully we have tons of adult and mature members here so this won't effect anything. But yeah, its good that this broadens the possible amount of players and new comers. Its crazy to think that a whole new generation of Twisted fans might be starting with this game, but at the same time awesome.

And I completely understand those who are hesitant and worried about not being able to drive and play with the d-pad anymore because I was the same way until I started gaming in this generation of consoles. Now, I'm over driving in racing games or doing almost anything other than the most basic simple weapons selection or commands on the d-pad. Analog sticks are second nature to me and I think anyone can in time get used to playing that way.

I've also been wondering about the picking up cars with Talon and Roadboats special where he sucks cars and holds them. I wonder how long you can do both for. I'm sure you can't just drive around forever with someone tied to your vehicle. At the same time just being able to mash a button and be released kind of negates using Talons special as an offensive move.

To be honest, even if it was an M rating you'd still see a lot of little annoying high-pitched voice kids playing and screaming into the mic, like in MW2 (which was M rated).

I agree with Cr8zy Eight here. There might be Parents that stare at the Ratings and then decide if its appropriate for their Children to play or not, but I think there is also about the same ammount of people that don't give a shit what their Kids are playing.

MW2 is indeed a prime example.
God how do I hate those kids ...

Oh absolutely. Even at work, we have little heathen brats that come in with their parents all the time trying to buy M rated games and we warn the parents up front. Half the time their parents care, the other half they honestly don't. I've seen parents buy GTA and MW2 for their 12 year old kids before. I do my job, but I'm more easy going on this stuff myself as I know if I was young right now I wouldn't want some dick Gamestop employee cock blocking me from playing an awesome game like Red Dead or Bad Company 2.

Of course, like anything else, you aren't going to keep M rated games out of the hands of every youngling out there no more than you would keep them from watching R rated movies or looking at the pronz online. Some adults or older siblings have consoles in their homes without parental controls enabled and kids will inevitably get on them.

since there are more and more younger parents these days, cause more and more girls are turning into whores at younger ages, you tend to have parents who try to be the 'cool' parent and let their kids play whatever they want. and honestly, I'm one of them... well, I'm not trying to be extra cool since my kid is 6 and doesnt give a shit how cool I am or not, but its just that I know my kid isnt a moron and that he knows the games are just fantasy. I know you probably get that alot at your store, Xizor.. so I'm sure you're thinking I'm full of shit, cause I know it sounds stupid to most ppl. I guess you'd just have to know my kid personally... but thats the best i can explain the increase in too-young kids playing M rated games

I remember when I was 7, I wanted to get GTA III at Target and the lady told my mom that it had violence, and my mom was like "Hell no I'm not buying it for him then", and I cried on the way home and when we got home. I hated the cashier lady I wanted to kill that bitch. Same thing happened at GameStop when I tried to get a WWE game, which was rated T, when I was 11, my mom again said no when he told her it had sexual stuff and blood. It sucked at the time and I know how the dumb little kids feel but I mean at that age I didn't know what the hell online play was yet until I was like 13. I swear though when they're online it's so annoying. I was playing MW2 and there was a group of 2-5 prestige little kids all with mics, and I was like oh my fucking god GET OUT OF HERE!!
