Yeah, this is a slight flaw in the Euphoria Engine that Rockstar uses for their games now. Don't get me wrong though, the Euphoria engine is one of the most amazing things to happen to gaming in my opinion--not to mention the reason why GTA IV and Red Dead are so incredible to me, and I wish it would become the physics standard over havok--but there are times when you just want people to die and they don't.

Most times its very realistic like when you shoot a cop in the leg and he stumbles and gets back up or when you run someone over not going that fast and it wouldn't kill them anyways, but I think the way Rockstar uses in with their RAGE engine needs to be tweaked a bit so that not every person takes so much to kill. It makes for awesome holy shit, dramatic moments some times but it was a problem that plagued both GTA IV and Red Dead Redemption.

A cover system and Euphoria are really what, for the most part, makes the gameplay superior to the GTA 3 era games.

Also, I suggest downloading Endorphin. It's made by the same people. It's an animation studio, but 99% percent of the users just play with it. It takes a while to learn, but once you do, there really is no limit to what you can do. Look up some vids of it on YouTube.

Actually its everything the new engine does that makes GTA IV great: cover system, finally after years of pure shit some solid shooting mechanics, the best car physics around, and greater characters animations and mo-cap just to name a few. Euphoria allows for even more randomness in AI, behaviors, reactions, and realism than anything around.

And yes, I've known of Endorphin for quite some time. Remarkable stuff.

Except I have a 150 dollar gift card for hastings , which is by far my favorite store to support when I buy my games/movies. They also didn't have the devils backbone in, so I had to walk away totally empty handed /sadface.

Same thing with Red Dead. For some reason you can't make very precise movements with the character himself. Generally doesn't make a difference but sometimes its fucking annoying when your character makes these big over compensating movements.

supposedly we arent allowed to show the link.. although someone may still have it. I dunno.

just to throw this in. I talk to people all the time about TM at gamestops. Everyone seems to think that TM is coming out. Not that means anything but its cool talking about TM2 and Black with these guys. There are still some casual TM fans out there that have good memories of the series.

Yea here's what he says...

I WILL be at E3 for a day next week it turns out cause I'm driving up to LA to show the execs the game. Figure if I'm in town anyway, I'd be nuts if I didn't swing by the convention center. So perhaps I'll see some of you there. If not, chat with you on the blog in about a week!

I guess we'll have to hope that his "showing the execs" will lead to showing EVERYONE what he's got going on as well.
