This reply goes out to the one and ONLY THE Dim Shades. Considering that it was you who motivated me to at least get the box of vinyl, and bring them home......I have done exactly that today. It's a big box full of 45's and another box of 33's. There are easily 50 albums of 33's, and easily that many in 45's
Now I know alot of the names in the box. Here are the ones I think garner some attention. I'm discribing the condition of the actuall vinyl itsself. Some of the covers are aged but in great condition. Some still in the original plastic.
Johnny Cash -- Sings The Songs That Made Him Famous
Condition-- Excellent
Al Martino -- Spanish Eyes
Condition-- Excellent
Tom Jones -- Funny Familiar Forgotton Feelings
Condition-- Excellent
Sonny James -- Your The Only World I Know/ Never Find Another You (
Condition-- Mint 2 album set.
Elvis Presley-- in a Hal Wallis Production, King Creole Original Picture Sound Track
Condition--Fair Condition. Some small scratches.
Elvis Presly -- Harum Scarum Original Picture Sound Track
Condition -- Excellent
I have 3 Dean Martin's -- Everybody Loves Somebody, (Good) Happiness Is, (Excellent) (Remember Me) I'm The One Who Loves You. (Good)
3 Al Hirt's -- All Excellent.
Julio Igesias -- 1100 Bel Air Place --Mint
Frankie Avalon-- A Whole Lotta Frankie -- Fair
2 Ray Price's -- Welcome to My World, (2 album set--Excellent) For the Good Times (Mint)
2 Engelbert Humperdink's-- Release me, (Good) The Last Waltz (Fair)
That's a small sample to be honest. They also have the original 2001 Space Oddessy, Saturday Night Fever, and quite a few others. Also the 4th Quarter and Overtime of "The Greatest Game Ever Played" on a 45. It's to bad that isn't in good condition. I'm surprized it even exists.
What say you Dim Shades?
::::EDIT:::::: Well......after doing some goolge serching, it's a bit disheartening. It doesn't look like much of this stuff will be worth much of anything. Hopefully we can sell some off to pay for the new camera we got.
