he may have lost confidence with his twisted metal intros and endings, etc from TM1, but Those were great.
Some bad  acting Except for Spectre and yellow Jacket...and the fact that you could see Mr Grimms face as a Humans...and not a skull(shouldn't have seen it at all)
Perhaps he just didn't have much people with an eye for detail to help him..
ALSO, the reason why it didn't translate well, is because it was shot on Video, NOT film.
It was shot very Cinematically and would have "worked" better shot on Film, or with better lighting, frame rate depth of field etc.
Otherwise it needed to be all Hand Held if shot on Video to give it a documentary type feel.
it all seems 2 dimensional,  and without the camera moving AROUND characters it all falls flat and is boring to the Eye, it doesn't stimulate the sense of vision.
Those pieces were great however.
You just have to take the camera off the Dolly, or tripod to make the thing seem more organic and real.

i dont blame DJ,lots of games used the live action type intros and almost all of them sucked giraffe balls, ithink the best ones were the wing commander that used mark hamil and it still sucked, just in a lesser degree.MK mythologies sub-zero,now theres some in game movies begging for ridicule.

I agree, although I liked all the movies.

The reason they were cut was not only because the quality was crap, but mainly because a member of the head of SingleTrac (who thankfully never came back to work for Incog Inc and ESP) complained about the violence (the senseless gunfire and the murder of the drivers of Spectre and Pit Viper, among other people) and sexuality (I guess sexy girls in bikinis turned him off, even if they weren't in a sexual pose) and threatened to blow the whistle at the big wigs of SCEA at the time (which he did and suceeeded.)

Also, in the ending to Sweet Tooth, someone on Youtube said the woman playing Needles' hostage, who is sen the passenger's seat, was played by David Jaffe's wife.  Anyone like to conform or deny this.

I believe that is David Jaffe's (ex) wife.

I know her name is in the credits

I like some of the endings, I actually think the ST guy played it quite good.

If you listen to him you can tell some of the stuff in Black was always planned from the beginning.

Very pleased I got to see them.
