--CONTINUED FROM ABOVE 4--
So, what can we here at TMAlliance conclude about TM 1 PC in terms of the music and how it compares to the PSX version? The 1 Player part of the PC version plays some tracks differently from the PSX while the 2 Player parts are identical to each other. Anyone have any theories or would know any insight as to why these differences exist between ports? After all, TM 2 PC is exactly like TM 2 PSX in terms of the music tracks on the levels, so why does TM 1 have to differentiate?
--UPDATE--
I have gotten past River Park Rumble and have gotten to Cyburbia in 1 Player. The verdict: Track 5 plays in the PC just like the PSX... so these tracks are correctly aligned. Cyburbia is just impossible to beat though because of all the enemies killing you at once.
--IN CONCLUSION--
So after reading all of the posts I have just created, you probably are exhausted and want me to never type another thing on these threads right??
Well the reason I posted all of these observations for you guys is because I know when I download a game from the Internet, I want the full experience (e.g. the full disc image compared to a simple RIP - That's why my status is what it is!) I hate when people do not provide enough details about a file or game (such as music tracks and such) - ESPECIALLY when there are differences between two ports of games. I hope this may have cleared up any issues for someone who may have been wondering about the differences between the PSX and the PC versions of Twisted Metal 1. If there is anything you guys have questions on about my analysis in the posts, don't hesitate to PM me.
Oh and one last thing... if anyone has ANY cheats for this game at all, please share! A God mode code or a registry hack would be INCREDIBLY useful for this game in finding out how it works!
