I bought a copy of the game on a burnt cd, and have uploaded it to sendspace. The file is in a rar archive you will need winrar to extract it, the file inside the archive is .bin/cue format so you will need another program to mount it. I use daemon tools lite to mount cd images, and included the install package in the archive.

Once your done extracting the files and mounting the CD image it's time to install, but this may or may not be easy.

In order to get this to install on my computer (currently using windows xp) I had to:
1. Go to MY Computer
2. Right click the TM icon and hit explore.
3. Open the Setup folder on the cd.
4. Right click Setup.exe, go to properties, then  compatibility, and select run this in compatability mode for Windows NT V 4.0

Once the install is done you have to go to C:\Program Files\Sony Interactive\Twisted Metal and select to run the program in compatibility mode, I selected windows 98.

I'm looking to further test the online capabilities with someone else, if anyone else has this game installed then post back here.

PS Windows firewall will automatically try to block the program from running online, so get that turned off before you try to play.

I installed the game by amounting a new drive. It runs the game and I'm able to play except I encounter a problem.

It reloads the intro again and again when the game menu shows up and when I hit buttons, it restarts the intro yet again(like a loop) which is odd.

So, I have to press enter button to enter Car Select menu and start a game by the time I see the game menu. Has anyone else had the same problem?

I'll be recording a video of the problem I'm having, tomorrow.

Fraps doesn't let me record while intro is being played but it's OK. I think I can live with it, ha. I just need to be quick enough to hit enter by the time I see the menu.

I, however, recorded me playing in Level Two. Here is a portion from the game. Game graphics are really fine once you set it. (The video resolution is a bit bad though - I was lazy to convert it to a better format.)



I had just waken up and was having a cup of tea while playing so I didn't focus on the game much. I was simply wandering. Lol.

I never got a chance to play the PS version of TM1 so I can't compare them. Sorry.

But the game is just awesome. I haven't played all the levels yet but it seems to be as fun as TM 2. The only missing would be that you cannot choose the level you wanna play, I guess. It advances like a tournament.
