Small Brawl does not suck. I wasn't a fan of the weapons, but the music remixes and the funny levels make it worth the play through. It certainly had many more redeeming qualities than 3 and 4, and I don't think it's fair to put it in the same league as them. For what it was, mainly aimed for kids (to jumpstart a new audience) and with a short development time, it was a fairly good representation of a smaller version of Twisted Metal.

There are some fairly epic levels also, but my favorite is the musical remixes of TM2.
