I agree with Xisor... Black with red text I think would be best... I've been on other forums where their was white text and it kinda gives me a headache....

yet if white text is the general consensus...that'd be fine I suppose.... maybe you could change the default text size to like 15 or so to alleviate the headache.

asides black and red is the generally accepted evil color scheme... seems more fitting.

I dunno, I'm not thrilled with it, but it's not bad. And it's dark. Thoughts / suggestions for color changes?

My gripe is more like the header stuff on the forum browser looks weird, and in the user cp menu has the blank area under the list of options, and the weird headers in member list. And of course the non-transparent images that were apparently built for the other design.

Most people seem to prefer the black on white kind of website, but TMA seems to prefer the reverse, it would seem, myself included (though as a professional web designer, I don't get to use it much because we're in the minority).

Man, I dont know why we didnt do this or bring this up sooner. A new change of paint just makes it feel right....more like the real TMA. Good job again Night. I dont know what it is but dark colors just fit the mood of this community. Maybe it is like the psychologists say, coolers do affect your mood. I think those fucking happy whites and other colors may have kept some people away.

Now we just need to take away the gay ass smiley faces and replace them with horrid looking evil clown faces.

I remember Devastation Studios generally having a black BG with light green font, going back ages. It's a lot more artistic, but definitely not going to appeal to mass audiences.... much like art itself.

I think it's a pretty common problem with any tool offering templates, namely that a few sections don't fit in as they should after changing colours that the tool itself encourages you to change! But as you said, overall it does look pretty good.

I could live with the images that stand out because I don't really have to read them, but the bright white fonts on the other hand... lol.

If you're talking about the images beneath posts, like the quote buttons or "WWW" buttons, that kind of stuff, then that's exactly what I'm talking about. I'm not about to make a bunch of custom buttons for a temporary forum though - feel free to make them yourself if you like though.

Yeah, Devastation Studios has always been my personal artistic thing, but for professional companies, nobody wants that kind of color scheme. Bunch of good-fer-nuthin' bastards.

Thanks for the feedback / compliments everybody, keep it comin'. Despite the limitations, I could still probably change some stuff if you guys have any specific thoughts/gripes (besides images).

Although I think I can add smilies and shit if you want to go yank some off the internet.
