I watched Power Rangers when it first came out, along with VR Troopers, but those shows got old very fast due to the fact that the formula for each episode is ultimately the same. I did watch one of the newer ones last year just to see what the fuck they are like now and it looked a lot cooler with all these flashy new effects and fight scenes compared to the old ones. Looking back on it now I have no idea how I watched that shit, but I was young and most things seem cooler when you are young.

I watched it a little when I was way younger, the first season or two, but even at the time I knew it was pretty fucking stupid. A giant pig head wearing a roman helmet with arms and legs but no body?

The 'zords' were okay by kid show standards, but most of it was terrible. The spin off were even worse - VR Troopers, Big Bad Beetle Borgs (the worst), Masked Rider, etc.

I agree with you on Masked Rider and Big Bad Beetleborgs. One of the characters on Masked Rider led to the brith of those acursed Furbys, and they took the Japanese show Beetleborgs is based on and messed it up to apeal to kids that are not old enough for Power Rangers.

I guess it's just one of those things that is so bad you have to watch it, kind of like Godzilla and Hot Shots/Naked Gun movies. I liked the latter two, but never got into Power Rangers for some reason. Also, people got beat up for watching Power Rangers where I was raised, so that might have A LITTLE to do with it. Haha.

But Hot Shots/Naked Gun movies have seriously devolved into the "Epic Movie" and "Scary Movie" hind of thing, which was funny in the nineties, but not so much anymore. Maybe I've finally out of that age group, because my parents and grandparents would always scoff when I put on those types of movies.

I do remember the Green one was definitely fucking (off-camera for reasons unknown) the cute Pink one though.
