meh, it was some of the smaller details about the Hulk movie that caught me. and that fight with the Abomination was pretty bad ass, I thought. its not often you see someone go toe-to-toe with the Incredible Hulk and actually whoop his ass a lil bit..

I have never and will never be a Trek fan. those tv shows bored the ever-living piss water out of me.. they were actually a punishment if my mom was feeling like that much of a bitch that day. and to see a new-age Trek movie and it have that much action at one time seems.. well.. wrong. my first thought when I saw the trailers was, "wow, this is gonna piss alot of fans off". to me, it just seems like they sold out the old formula to appeal to the masses.. usually something I'm against. but being that I was never a fan to begin with, I dont give a shit. I'll probably wait for the dvd, at best... John Cho kicks ass tho

and its REALLY weird to see Simon Pegg do something like that. I almost didnt recognize him

I just finished reading the JLA/Avengers crossover book. I really ended up enjoying it. It was quite fun to see all the Marvel and DC characters interacting with one another.

About the only gripe that I had with it was the ending kinda turned into a little bit of a cluster fuck. The way the reality kept switching as the worlds were merging together ... causing different people to show up and characters to switch between costumes. It got a little confusing and you couldn't help but think the writers hit a point where they realized they were making a MARVEL AND DC CROSSOVER and they spent most of the book with boring ass heroes like Aquaman.

I realize it was supposed to be about The Justice League and The Avengers ... but it seemed like a lot of important characters got left out of the mix. Only a small Hulk cameo? Very little of The Fantastic Four? Hmm... wish they would have stepped them up.

Though those are just minor complains ... anytime you're dealing with a story that arch's between two different realities and two different companies its going to be hard to fit in everybody. I think its cool that they actually did the book.

It was a good introduction to some of the DC characters that I don't know that much about. Being more of a Marvel guy ... it was fun to read some of the stuff about The Flash and The Green Lantern. I'll have to check out some more of there shit.

I just picked up The Death of Superman yesterday ... that one is next on my to read list.

I was never much of a DC fan period. I learned more about the DC characters by playing MK vs. DC than anything... as sad as that sounds

It's just another typical Marvel movie to me. Nothing more.

I have the video game (the M-rated version, mind you) and when I saw the movie Deadpool's action figure, I was disgusted to Hell.  Thank God Hasbro released the comic version as an action figure.

What's even worst, they have his mouth sealed shut to keep him from talking.
