I heard that a Deadpool spinoff movie was announced.

Source@ http://movies.ign.com/articles/979/979991p1.html

EDIT - That website also says the next solo Wolverine movie takes place in Japan, and according to the comics, Wolverine both falls in love and gets his asskicked by 2 or 3 non-mutant samurais.  And this pisses him off greatly.

saw the movie, it was alright for what it was but probably wouldn't see it again. Deadpool movie sounds interesting but I would rather see Wolverine fight samurais.

Xizor I was going to post that same Onion video. That's probably one of my favorite ones they've put out recently. I've never been a Star Trek fan ... but I can honestly say I'm looking forward to this film. It looks quite good.

Plus... Simon Pegg is in it and I must support everything that he is in! Did anyone else catch "How to Lose Friends and Alienate People?" ... funny as hell.

Well I still haven't gone to see the movie...I'm so thouroughly dissapointed in what they did to deadpool that I don't even really care... I'll still see it regardless but fuck man... So what of this deadpool spinoff?? if it's going to follow the same story that origins left off with ...I'm more than pissed.... mostly cause that means there will be a game to go with it that will also be following the same bullshit made up hollywood crap. I've been waiting for a deadpool single player and if that's gonna be what it's like I might just boycott marvel everything... ok probably not...but shit man!!

This wolverine game though... it's badass ... I love it... definitely glad I bought it... I could easily give this game a few playthroughs... the fighting mechanics are simple yet open for creative exploitation... very pretty too I might add. I've already unlocked all the outfits and killed the shit out of everyfuckingthing I've come across... alot of fun... Highly recommended in my book.

MUA2 is also a game I'm highly anticipating... I see the good ol DP (no magnum not double penetration) is reappearing in it so that makes it a can't miss for me hahaha. I put countless hours into the first one as well as x men legends one and two... something about real time action rpg's that I just eat up like peanut butter jelly time...can't help it... ::shrugs::

damn right, I was/am hardcore into the Legends games but unfortunately, never bought MUA 'cause I've been waiting to get it on a next gen console rather than PS2

With Norton... Yeah I did man...it was much better than the last one they did with that no name guy... The whole abomination thing was a bit over the top and sudden... but it was definitely cool...

speaking of...I've been thinking about picking that game up too..cause it seemed like a remake of Hulk ultimate destruction ...which I loved... yet with better graphics ya know. Anyone played it?

Pure you might as well just pick up MUA for the ps2 it's basically the exact same game... that's a must play especially for a deadpool fan. I played it on ps2 several times and I don't regret not buying it for ps3 at all.

Let us never speak of the Ang Lee "Hulk" movie ever again ... that is the perfect example of the wrong person for the job.

I never watched either Hulk movie.  Hulk as a character itself bores me.  He turns into a green monster and punches people to death, not exactly super interesting.  Although super strength would be excellent to have, no doubt.

It'd been really cool too if he got off this gigantic fart, and shot a huge, mean and green turd like a balistic missle.

I pay to see that.  Cool

LOL!!!!!!!!! you asshole, you just made me hack up a lung from laughing so damn hard.. doesnt help that I'm sick, either

Order, I played it a few times at a buddy's house ('cause I'm the only one with a 5-way adapter) and I loved it, but the reason I was waiting was 'cause the graphics seemed to look WAAAY better on the PS3 version. albeit, I played it on the PS2 and my graphics judgement is based sole off of stillshots, that was just my take. am I wrong?

and I'm glad I'm not the only one who liked the Norton Hulk movie. I loved how they kinda gave security-style updates and specs on Bruce  Banner as he was transitioning from himself to the Hulk.. nice lil touch, I thought. and who was is they showed at the end??? I cant remember 'cause its been forever since I seen it, but they had Samuel L. come walking out in a uniform, but I dont remember who the name tag said he was. Nick Fury?

The new Hulk movie was great ... it just came out at a bad time. The same year as both The Dark Knight and Iron Man ... there was no way it would have been able to stand head to head with either of those characters.

The Hulk fits more into its own little 'nitch' market ... a lot of people don't get the character, it seems. I'm afraid the same thing is going to happen with the Thor movie.

It'll be interesting to see how well people take to a live action Captain America movie.

Ok, real quick. The latest Hulk movie wasnt that great. Edward Norton usually equals win, but that movie was pretty boring. Also, Ive never understood why the last Hulk movie was frowned upon so badly? In a lot of ways I actually liked that one better than the new one, but I stand alone on that issue.

On a good note, Star Trek is pretty damn good. Very fun to watch coming from someone who wouldnt really consider themselves a trekkie outside of a brief affair with Next Generation back in its hayday. I am however a huge sci-fi geek and tend to generally like this kind of stuff anyways, especially when done right, which it was in this case. The new facelift and vibe are definetly a welcome change by far. I really like this take and Star Trek and wouldnt mind if JJ continued to dabble in this, which knowing the staying power of the franchise Im sure thats a high possibility.

My only real problems with the film were that for one there were no epic ship battles in the movie. Now, some might gasp and scream blasphemy but in the context of the movie there really is no cause for any dramatic ship to ship confrontations, and those who watch it will understand what Im talking about, but when I think Star Trek I think awesome space battles. Then there is also the fact that the main antagonist really has only a small part in the movie contrary to what you would think from the previews and watching past Trek films. I was ready to watch Eric Bana kick fucking ass Munich or last Hulk movie style. See what I did there brought this shit around full circle. If you dont get my Munich reference then look it up you fucking noob! Also I felt the flick was to short, but I generally think that when I really enjoy a movie and want more out of it. There really is nothing wrong with the length I guess, but another half hour to an hour and I would have been completely satisfied.

Normally Id be all for defending the fact that hollywood shouldnt fuck with old established properties, but to be honest, the old Star Trek just wouldnt/doesnt stand up to well by todays standards. So, in this case I have to side with JJ Abrams changing shit. It just felt right to me. Go ahead and throw stones if you wish for me saying that but Im sorry this version is much better.

I wasn't much a fan of the new Hulk movie either, although Edward Norton is always watchable.  For me one reason was because the battles were underwhelming.  A fight on a college campus with all those innocent people around just doesn't make sense.  Plus it was not nearly as exciting as the Hulk's battle with the tanks in the 1st movie or when he fought off the Helicopters.  And the battle with the Abomination just didn't hold my interest like Hulk's fight with those gamma mutated dogs in the Sequoia forest.

Star Trek was excellent.  And I am nowhere near a Trekkie either.  I would watch Next Generation if it was on but if I missed it, it was no big deal.  Star Trek was one of the best movies I've seen this year.
