Speaking of Shamwow, I took my dad to Walmart today to pick up his birthday gift and some 50 year old guy was giving a demonstration of Shamwow, or an imitation, doing the exact same routine as the infomercials too. The second I saw the guy I said "Hi, Billy Mays here!" probably a little too loud because people turned around and looked at me. Then my Dad ended up yelling "Wow Shamwow. You'll say WOW every time you use Shamwow!" from the isle we walked down. I doubt anyone found our antics humorous. All this took place in none other then the Automotive section.

I don't watch TV much, but two shows I never miss are Rescue Me (Tuesday, FX) and Hell's Kitchen (Thurs, FOX, sue me).

Well even FOX did a spoof on Billy Mayes last night, someone dressed as him saying, "Hi, Billy Hayes here". And he ran down the entire FOX weekly lineup as if he was selling it to you in an infomercial. TMA's influence on national events is near completion.
