Yeah I haven't really messed with OneDrive/Groove that much yet. I just signed up for the free 30 days just so I could get on with it for now.
I was really looking forward to playing FH3, but so far I'm just kinda meh on it. Not sure what I really think about it overall right now. Felt a little too "Forza" at first but after unlocking some cars and playing around with it, its growing on me a bit. I think I might just be at capacity for racing games at this point. After playing a ton of racing games last gen and a few this gen, I'm not sure I'm actually thrilled to continue pursuing this genre as not a lot has changed...or maybe I was not actually in the mood for a racing game right now with all the more interesting titles out there, who knows.
I am pretty pissed off that apparently FH3 and all Windows 10 games aren't going to support SLI at this time if ever. Even Gears 4 isn't launching with SLI support from what I can tell. I guess I'm the idiot for thinking MS might actually get its act together and take PC gaming seriously for once so after Gears 4 I guess I'm done with the "play anywhere" bullshit. Its sad that this experiment has already failed. I'm having to sacrifice higher settings just to get FH3 running decent but even then this game seems a bit too demanding to be using only one of my cards, especially since I was wanting to run this in 2K widescreen on PC primarily. The game looks pretty darn good, but its not the PC experience I had hoped for. I will say the seamless transitions of playing on Xbox and PC are pretty solid as far as transferring progress and how all that works. So far I like Windows 10 and how it talks to my Xbox overall, but if this is any indication on how neutered the PC versions of these first party games are going to be, no thank you; I'll just use my X1 for exclusives and Steam for PC.
As for Destiny news, oh man, this is a whopper of a scoop:
http://kotaku.com/sources-destiny-2-coming-to-pc-aims-to-feel-like-a-to-17871534...I'm all for making Destiny what it should be now that we've left behind peasant gen, but I don't know how I'd feel about abandoning everything we've seen and done so far. I had always hoped the game would just get expanded upon for years to come but if we had to leave behind Destiny one, our characters, and everything we've done over the past couple years...not sure that's in keeping with what we were promised with Destiny and not something I'd be happy about. A PC version would definitely be fucking awesome, but I worry Bungie would be getting into unknown territory there, at least in terms of how PC players would totally cheat/break the game. Everything else sounds badass though.
