Title: The Return of V-Wing
Post by V-Wing on 04/27/20 at 12:23:20
A very twisted salutations to all of you freaks.

I fell away when then original site went down, that was a killer, but I just refound this rusty link buried in blood and mangled steel in my favorites.

I was beyond shocked to see my login STILL worked! That is amazing and I have to say a massive thank you to whomever was responsible for carrying it over.

Anyways, I just wanted to step back in here and see who of the original crew is still around here. See how everyone is doing, what you guys are up to. I'm happy to see it still alive and kicked. I have to say it feels good to be back.
Stay safe out there, people. It's gettin' wild.

SO WHATS UP?!

Jeez. This fucking guy. LOL! What? Still alive? For you maybe. You got years to catch up on reading through the pages of this site. I only seen one new post after the last couple months.

So go get me a fucking beer, and play some damn catch up. I ain't gonna read all this shit out for you.

Welcome back, you old bastard.
Sadly there is little left of the original crew and the TMA founder has no interest in TM anymore, but there is still activity on the forum from time to time,
and you can join the TMA Discord server (and affiliated servers) for a more social experience, and as a way to get involved in TM Black Online matches if you are interested, or if you want to get back into TM2PC, or to try out TM1PC, or play TMX via XLink Kai - those are options too as those games have their own Discord communities too. Links to them can be found in stickied posts on this forum.

haha MAG, you still tickin?! I wouldn't expect any less from you. Are Hellbent, RoaDiE, Trych, Hex, AiC still around? I did see Xiz is still lurking around.
Where's that walk-in fridge again?

Thank you much, Mosh! I'm actually pumped to hear TMBO, TM2PC are up and running. I would love get in on that action.
I had an old song I used to listen to during TM2 matches that came on shuffle the other from my Spotify and I got hit with a flood of nostalgia for those days. I may have to jump in, thanks for the heads up!
So, by what you said, Mort is M.I.A. now?

I shant hold my breath for Blair to arrive. Gah

Sup VAGINA-WANG! I think you are forgetting that you did come here briefly before we ran you off again with constant roasting. That's how I got my "The Google Man" belt because you used to be able to google "gay v-wing" and the first search result was a post of mine on here calling you a giant vest wearing faggot or something.

Most people check in randomly but the site ain't what it used to be. I logged in randomly the other day and Mags alerted us to you returning so I figured I'd come by and say whatsup. Are you playing any games these days? Are you still a bible thumping homo? Are you excited for Trump 2020 because I am.

Of course V-Wang supports Trump! Wouldn't take any other answer from him.

Honestly, it's just baffling seeing you in the same aisle as him, Xizor. Always found it somewhat bizarre based on your previous posts on the topic of Repubs. Figured you would have supported bumbling fuck-O'Brien this election cycle but this is something else.

For the record, I typed in 'gay v-wing' about a month ago and never found that specific picture.

I'm not one of the ancient people floating around here, but new TMBO and TM2PC players are always welcome. There's a discord for both.

TM2PC:

https://discord.gg/tzz827J

and TMBO is here:

https://discord.gg/N3a7esV

Just in case you haven't found them already yourself.

I host TM2PC on monday (Though there are people that play other days.) and the TMBO crew host every saturday.

Welcome back V-wing. I saw you once in passing before you disappeared.

"Honestly, it's just baffling seeing you in the same aisle as him, Xizor. Always found it somewhat bizarre based on your previous posts on the topic of Repubs. Figured you would have supported bumbling fuck-O'Brien this election cycle but this is something else."

A true human being grows and changes; evolves and becomes better. Truth be told I never thought I'd move from the Left but modern times require modern solutions and the democratic landscape is a pathetic roster of far left retards, socialists, communists, and un-asked-for puppet buffoons that champion absolutely nothing....like, literally nothing at all that makes sense in America. The current corrupt democratic party is over. Its simply embarrassing. Meanwhile, Trump is just nailing so much of what Americans actually care about.

I don't know what the Republican party and its candidates are going to look like after 2024 as I think both parties are being torn down and reborn, but it doesn't take a genius to see that identity politics, open borders, anti-second amendment losers, crying about pronouns and sexual orientation, alongside Marxist communism are not things average people care about or think are important...because they aren't. I'm progressive as shit but god damn the movement is fucking pathetic and shameful at best at this point. "Give me free shit" and "muh skin color and vagina" are all that matters to these losers and that's why the movement doesn't matter.

Only old school posters that are here on the reg are really me, Mosh and Aced14. Xizor and Synthr only really pop in every now and then.

Everyone else has been gone or if they come back at all, don't stay long. There really isn't that much activity here anymore.

Title: Re: The Return of V-Wing
Post by V-Wing on 04/29/20 at 11:59:29
Xiz hey my man!
haha I completely forgot about that. I don't remember much about it it was so short. I feel like hanging a bit this time around at least.

I hate that it's died down so much here, but it honestly is really cool to see at least quite a few of the main squad here.

haha, Xiz, you nailed it 100%. I definitely am Trump 2020. Whats funny is I did NOT vote for him his first time around. I didn't care at all for his tweets and childish insults. But, I tell you what, I think America, honestly, needed his type to come through, shake it up, and just not care for the status quo, politicking, play fake facade in front of camera's and journalists, etc. I love how he just calls out things. Please rip this PC culture out by the roots. I'm with Bill Maher on that one, haha. Xiz, like I said, you nailed it.

Gaming-wise, I'm currently playing FarCry 5 because I'm lame and like open-world exploration games to get lost in. Mostly because of my work, haha. Also Call of Duty Remastered for giggles and the like. What about you?

That aside, I'm sure I would be embarrassed to see much of the past from me. Eesh.

Thank you much, Adonael, definitely bookmarking those!

Title: Re: The Return of V-Wing
Post by XIZOR on 04/30/20 at 11:57:41
I played Far Cry 5 but I'm bored of the series at this point. This is my last one unless they revamp it to something fresh.

I'm currently dicking around with the Warzone BR mode in Modern Warefare and what's nice about that is that its truly cross platform.

What platforms do you play on? I/we should add you on all social media/gaming platforms.

Title: Re: The Return of V-Wing
Post by V-Wing on 04/30/20 at 14:42:51
Yeahhh. I'm over halfway through it and am struggling to finish it due to being so repetitive. I feel like they have a ton of potential with what gameplay and feel they have. But definitely needs something fresh bad.

Man, I've been looking to get the new Modern Warfare, that new Warzone just about pushed me into it. Lately me and a friend of mine have been messing around in GTA online.
For sure my man. My name on everything is 'TreyTrimble' I play on PS4 and on PC at times, depending on the game and at times if I bought it on Steam first (usually) haha.

Hey man, haha. I'm a sick loyalist I guess?

I'm glad you're still around! What are you up to these days? Doing alright?

Title: Re: The Return of V-Wing

Hanging in there. Married. Have a daughter who is my favourite person. Working a boring corporate job. Still game but during hours no one else can. Being an adult kind of sucks. Short sentences are fun.

Title: Re: The Return of V-Wing
Post by V-Wing on 05/08/20 at 08:48:19
Man, congratulations. A daughter? You hit the lottery, that's awesome!
Corporate world definitely can suck. I've freelanced from home for just over 3 years now, thanks to learning 3D and graphics. So I can game at really odd times too haha.

Title: Re: The Return of V-Wing
Post by SynthR on 05/09/20 at 06:23:25
I get to work from home a lot and I've always wanted a nine to five job where I can go in, get it over with and come home to my family. My job pays the bills and I just want to be back home, lol. Every job has its drawbacks so I can deal with the daily corporate bullshit if I'm home at the same time every day.

Title: Re: The Return of V-Wing
Post by V-Wing on 05/12/20 at 17:03:31
haha man I completely get that.
I have trouble with NOT working if I'm home. With it being graphics/visual design and the fact I'm a perfectionist I feel like the work never ends. Work is always just across the room (including my personal work I do daily.) It gets hard to get it out of my mind to learn to relax haha

Has the Covid-19 had an impact on your work yet?

Title: Re: The Return of V-Wing
Post by SynthR on 05/12/20 at 18:37:12
Covid has impacted everything. My company is still up and running because we were pretty mobile before all this happened. We didn't get hit as hard as some companies. I'm still blown away by how insane this situation is and how it will change us moving forward.

Title: Re: The Return of V-Wing
Post by V-Wing on 05/15/20 at 08:10:29
I'm glad to hear that it hasn't affected work too awful much. I've had some clients put projects on pause which freaked me out a tad because that's my income right there being put on pause.

Thankfully Sony Music Entertainment came through asking me to work on a Disc Box set their releasing (I signed an NDA or I would say what it was for haha)

But yes, it's insane. I also hate that's its something we can't really HELP with. The help is literally locking ourselves down inside. I'm really hoping that Hydroxychloroquine is the answer that would lead to a new medicine to actually combat this.
Maybe after all of this we can finally get out of having our things made in China. Sheesh.

LOL! Greed is a very powerful thing man. Why pay an American 15 bucks an hour and little health benefits when you can pay Wo Han 2 bucks an hour to work 14 hours, 6 days a week?

China also fucked up and had this shit come out of their country. "Possibly" from a bio lab they have in Wo Han. Imagine if Afghanistan or Iran broke out 1st? It'd be "TERRORIST PLOT" everywhere.

Nah man. Can't beat the US militarily, beat em economically. That's what my Grandfather said about Japanese cars being sold in America after fighting in WW2.

If we have to blame anyone, we should be blaming the World Health Organization (WHO). Their sole purpose was to prevent things like this from happening or minimizing its impact. Instead? Complete and utter failure costing people their lives and jobs. Time to shut that shit organization down, fellas. People get fired over lesser evils like stealing printer paper or calling Kathy at reception a cunt. At least those people didn't kill 40,000 from neglect.

The box set thing sounds interesting. Let's not talk about it though.

Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, 52, The $240,000 annual salary is not enormous.

WHO 2.2 billion annually.

Nah dog. They got this shit man. They just need more money and resources to help combat the problem.

I agree with all of that.

Especially the WHO. That behemoth is nasty. Bringing that whole goofy line to life; "you had one job! ONE. JOB."

hahaha I'm sorry. A project I CAN share is the Stranger Things 3 work I got asked by Sony/Netflix to do.
If anyone would like to see. 6 videos. Promotional pieces to promote the Official Soundtracks for CD, Cassette, and Vinyl.

WHO should be annihilated. And China, as well as the middle east, should just be nuked from orbit at this point. They account for an overwhelming amount of the worlds conflict and bullshit. We have our own shitty shit here in America but communism and religious terrorism as well as constant outbreaks from china make isolationism more appealing and globalism suddenly much less appealing...but this has been building for a while.

China is a huge threat to humanity across the board. I've been saying this forever but its becoming increasingly more apparent day after day.

That is really cool Synthr. Awesome.

Money is where China is. Stop the money and America will fall. All the tin foil stories I've seen and read. It's honestly quite funny.

Democratic party asked China to release this to ruin Trump's re-election. Winnowing of the human race of old and weak people. A stepping stone to a NWO.

It can get pretty funny the longer you go down the internet rabbit hole. Google is so cool.

If I looked like that guy, it'd be an improvement.

I wouldn't go up against Ramsey unless I could make my own specialties. No fancy bull shit. Just cat food and 4 cups of salt.

I want to see if I can't get access to the old site in some way at some point for posterity sake and for the lols. The history of old TMA can't be allowed to die with Mort. I'm sure its full of cringe, embarrassment as well, but we all know nothing would bring more life to this dead community and site like access to all the old shit. If anyone has connections or a way to do this get at me. I feel like its purely a bucket list thing for me at thing point.

Title: Re: The Return of V-Wing
Post by Magnum on 06/04/20 at 18:24:04
Holy shit! The original TMA front page. Damn that brought me back and gave me some chills.

Those years were some of the best times in my online life. I'm quite sure there are a hell of alot things we all said and did that isn't quite right. That's what made it so fun.

I miss being all my different account names and arguing with myself in a whole post with them. Damn...... good times.

Title: Re: The Return of V-Wing
Post by V-Wing on 06/05/20 at 13:33:50
Mannnn yes. When that front page hit my screen, the same thing happened to me. That was SUCH a big part of my online life too, and a blast (even tho I was ridiculous, haha) But man, I looked so forward to getting back on the site the next day.

I would love that, Xiz. And I absolutely with it bringing back some life here. That's exactly what I thought when I posted that link.

If I'm able to help, let me know. I'd love to aid in that endeavor.

I meant to ask, what DID happen to Mort?

Title: Re: The Return of V-Wing
Post by SynthR on 06/07/20 at 21:15:46
I heard Mort died several years ago while working on TMA 2.0. His finger was just about to hit the Enter button to launch the site, but he had a brain aneurysm bringing about instant death. R.I.P.

Title: Re: The Return of V-Wing
Post by Magnum on 06/09/20 at 21:37:25
LOL @ Synthr. Considering how long ago it's been, all the urban legends could be true. I think it was posted here a long time ago about the why. As of right now I can't remember it. I have the vague memory that it was a bullshit reason or something. I'm not sure.

TBH, I don't think even bringing back the original site would do much anyway. With the way today's world is, it wouldn't be as fun because there are way to many sensitive people who can't understand a joke or take harsh criticism.

Title: Re: The Return of V-Wing
Post by V-Wing on 06/10/20 at 07:12:58
hahahaha.

Wow, really? After all the work he put into building what was once the great TMA. It's surprising he could just up and quit. Even making it into the TMB credits. Hmm.

Mag, you're absolutely right about today's ridiculously soft society. Nerfing the world is a horrible idea.
But maybe we could reawaken Scold, Hellbent, Nightshade, AiC, Junior, SolTakr, etc?
I mean if none of us are softies, it'd be fine, right? haha

Title: Re: The Return of V-Wing
Post by Magnum on 06/11/20 at 01:14:14
Not just the world being the way it is but just the fact this site is practically dead. Been that way for years now and not really going to change.

Hellbent won't come back. Be surprised if he did. He's the reason why Temp TMA split into another site called Bastards of Gaming that PS7 so graciously supported until he couldn't do it anymore. Hell of a guy that got shit on way to much but hey, that was TMA. All the others you've mentioned have been gone a long time, or pop in very randomly. Some didn't even come to the Temp site when the original went offline.

Shit. I can barely remember any post from Mort here at the Temp site at all. I think he did but was really like a ghost.

Last port/reply was almost 6 years ago.

Ahh, I got you.

Whoa, was there some sort of falling out that happened?
Hellbent won't come back? I must've missed something pretty sizable.

I would assume Wolfenhex isn't still co-hosting this site or the old?
I did notice the PayPal donation is still open on PayPal's website and able to donate to. Still says "Purpose: Twisted Metal Alliance."
The YouTube page Mort had uploaded last around 4 years ago. Playing TM for PS3.
The TMA Mort Twitter was last tweeted on 5 years ago.

It's super weird to me, for some reason, to just suddenly vanish from something you loved so much and poured so much into because of the passion. hmm..

Do we know who still is upkeeping the old original tmalliance.com page thats still up and has links to different things?

Thanks for that link to his last post, btw Mags.

Title: Re: The Return of V-Wing
Post by Magnum on 06/16/20 at 08:35:43
I think Wolf is still hosting the server. I'm not sure. It's been a long time. If not him I think it's Aced14. Either way, the site is practically dead as you can see and it's been like this for about 5-6 years now. Mort will never release anything TMA that he made. Be it the original site code, or the TMA 2.0 he was working on while we all hung out here waiting for it.

You missed a lot. You have to go through the sites older pages when you have time to try and find whatever your looking for. Good luck.

Hellbent was an amazing transformation to being one of the most respected people here, to being pretty Blair like. He was actually worse than Blair because he knew many of us personally and was attacking us that way. He was really sniping at Xizor and PS7. Ironically, him having a nasty triage with me after telling him he needed to chill the fuck out put the whole site against him. I wasn't even in the Brawl until that point because I didn't wanna be a part of what was going on, and he was trying to drag me in. So yea, I doubt he'd come back.

Title: Re: The Return of V-Wing
Post by V-Wing on 06/16/20 at 16:52:00
Ahh, got you, got you. Weird, it seems like if it was something he (Mort) had lost interest in completely he would've handed it over to someone who was still in it. Hmm.
Wolf and I used to talk some graphics back in the day a bit. He was cool.

Man, I really did miss a lott.

Are you KIDDING me...Mag, you just blew my mind. Hellbent was like, THE guy when I disappeared. That's absolutely insane. I would've never thought that was the case.

Title: Re: The Return of V-Wing
Post by SynthR on 05/05/20 at 14:12:41
I talk to Wolf on occasion. I let him use all my music for his gaming projects and he let me host my sites on his server in return. He's a busy a guy. I do believe he still hosts this site because it probably doesn't cost him much more than what he already pays for what he needs.

-----

TMA died a horrible death because of a difference in philosophies. When TMX/TMPS3 came out in 2012, everyone rallied around it initially. The vets were really hoping for TMBO or TM2, but what we got was some new, unbalanced piece of garbage where everything was auto-aim - essentially TMHO 2. I picked up Roadie two weeks after launch and we both went to Gamestop and traded our copies in because we hated it. I don't think I've ever bounced off a muiltiplayer game so quickly.

Leading up to TMX and during it, there was an influx of new players who would constantly fight with vets over the mechanics of the game. It was the usual TMA brawls and flame wars you saw back in the day - a lot of dick measuring mixed in with actual rational thought. The fights were mainly over whether you could dodge weapons in TMX (which you really couldn't) and whether any skill was involved. It got to the point where new players would join, try to engage in the debate and then get ripped to shreds because that's how TMA is. So, people would leave the site and not come back.

Mortimer was pissed over this and voiced his concern over the toxicity of the community; even saying the Brawl board was going too far. I think he was concerned about his image being tarnished because TMA and himself made it into the credits of TMX and were mentioned by Jaffe on social media often. To me it felt like the old guard was no longer needed. The vets, who were the pillars of the TMA community, kept the community and games alive for a decade. However, now that the community was getting some media attention, it was time to clean house and bring in a better type of gamer. It was a nice thank you, fuck you, bye. We had a small community that would never grow beyond a certain point even with the attention it was getting, but Mort (who was NEVER around for years at a time) tells the core members that they're shit and not wanted here anymore. He founded the community and felt he was still in control over something he pretty much abandoned.

I strongly disagreed with this stance and so did many others. My position was that all of these "horrible things" were what made TMA so unique - it was why the community still existed. It was filled with characters and discussions about topics you wouldn't find anywhere else. We had also been like this for over a decade without any issue, so why now? Our entire world now has become filled with people who can't take an insult/joke, so it was a sign of the times maybe. People started becoming overly sensitive.

Essentially, Mort wanted everyone (mainly the vets) to stop swearing, leave people alone and carrying on like we usually did - some of us, not all, were unwelcoming. He wanted to tame the community as if we were juicier than TMBO Axel. Myself and others said that wouldn't happen and if the core TMA vets left the site it would die. We left and the site did die after the initial TMX excitement died off. We moved to our own private board which eventually died off too over the years because adulting is hard and nobody has time for anything anymore.

Many of us still keep in touch through Facebook messenger and other means. I recently played TMBO on the revival server and had a good night, but some of the people playing it (namely newer players) aren't my cup of tea. There's still people there arguing who the best is in a dead game, as an example.

Wow, SynthR. Thank you so much for that. That explains exactly what I was wondering.

Man, thats sad. It's hard to believe, really. The trashing and "garbage" that went on, WAS TMA's way of conversing. We all knew and embraced that. It was honestly like no place else.
I think, and I hate to say it, I really took it for granted that it would always be the way it was.  Back then it felt like such a tightly woven (albeit dysfunctional) family. Back when I was a young fool, that I hated to love (haha).
I miss it, really. i think you're right, the whole adulting  situation definitely takes it's toll on these places as well. Which sucks because all the responsibilities and sometimes with the lack of levity/fun we need a place like TMA.

I think Twitter has proven to be a massive mistake that needs to just be nuked off the planet.

I ended up buying and beating the single player TMX because I got too excited upon seeing a new TM game release. Definitely wasn't a great experience.

I'm guessing guys like -SCoLD-, Nightshade, (moderators) just ended up leaving due to work/life etc?

I have Scold and Nightshade on Facebook. They're both doing really well. Scold is doing his thing being a family man like I am. Nightshade is pursuing his dreams doing improv comedy with what looks like a comedy troupe.

There's a Facebook group for TM that most of us are a part of. It has the worst most basic bitch fans imaginable. It's worth a few laughs because the stuff people post is so cringy and god awful. It's like crayon drawings of new vehicle ideas and half-ass Sweet Tooth masks made out of paper mache It also has a lot of the disenfranchised people who would float onto this site, bringing all their insecurities and mental health issues into the fold.

There's this poor girl on there who Xizor "friended" just to see what she posts on her personal page. Man, the poor girl has serious issues. She posts these huge racist, xenophobic and homophobic rants that are prompted by nothing. So toxic and vicious. Then she hops on the TM group and goes on about wanting to sleep with Sweet Tooth and how she's actually Dollface. I can't honestly say that I have problems when I see what other people out there deal with.

I can only assume people like this are part of every community, but I don't have the experience to really say that. I can only speak for TM fans and the people we've seen pass through our community. I think the dark aspect of the TM series draws these types of people out.

Being apart of both the TMBO community and here for years I can say I've seen some pretty strange people drawn to the series. We have a few strange ones today. Its something I've discussed a few times. Especially with the nature of TMB.

From people with personality disorders, autism, one pedophile (legit , no joke), furries and Scalies, inferiority complexes etc.

Surprisingly havent seen a hardcore racist yet.

And nothing against some of the people who are apart of those groups, most of them are decent people. The rest either disappeared with time or are a constant pain in the ass until they get bored.

I forgot, I also have Scold and Nightshade on Facebook!
For some reason I don't see when they post. I also found  a few others on their that I remember from here but can NOT remember what the TMA name they go by was. One is really into BMX.

Did that Facebook group start during the TMA down/temp time? I feel like I joined it at some point or at least peeked inside years back. But it was the normal TMA crowd at that time.

I completely get the cringe being a pull. I've got a few YouTubers I go back to, to enjoy the cringe with a buddy of mine haha.

Eeesh, I guess you're right about the dark side of TM bringing them out. Any classic TMA-style thrashing their drawings or anything going on?

Is RoaDiE still around here? How is he doing?
Also Trych? We had some good convo messages back and forth. He helped me back in a crossroads of mine career-wise.

No, the FB group is completely different. You'll have to see for yourself. Nothing really worth seeing other than pure, nonsensical fandom.

Roadie is doing good. He just graduated nursing school, which he described as pure hell. He moved back to British Colombia so I haven't physically seen him in a few years.

Trych, never talked to him much unfortunately.

You can add me on FB, if you want. Go to Scold friend's list or someone from TMA and look for Matthew Le Blanc. Yes, Joey from Friends. I've heard every joke possible, so please contain yourself.

Eeeesh...haha I joined, and yes definitely see the cringe factor.. some gorgeous graphics being done in there haha

Oh wow, I can only imagine that being crazy, I'm glad to hear Roadie's doing good! I always thought it was cool you guys lived close enough to be able to pick each other up and go places. Online it always seems like no one is at all close geographically.

It sucks that it's the only name I know with Trych. Hard to find a fella by.

I wouldn't dare make a joke like that! ;) haha, but it's actually pretty cool that it's your name. My fiance` would LOVE it if my name was someone from Friends haha.

Hello everyone! Glad to see you are all doing well!  And yeah, I've been mostly busy with comedy stuff (I'm in 6 improv groups and 2 sketch groups) and life in general.

Also I'm a vehement liberal to my core who loathes the president and everything he stands for and that seems like a pretty big rift with people around here nowadays. I feel like we violently disagree on most things outside of the narrow scope of gaming, so it's not particularly enticing to post here anymore. I won't bring it up if you won't, though.

I am still playing games but I haven't played TM in a long time.

Anyhoo, here are a couple of short sketches I wrote/preformed:

https://youtu.be/AzUbodgYdes

And this is improv (all made up on stage) with my troupe "Middle-Aged Southern Women" - it's actually super easy with this troupe because we basically just sit and gab:

My theater(s) are closed due to COVID though and I have no idea when they'll re-open, let alone when people will feel comfortable going again. I certainly wouldn't yet. And who knows if they'll be able to sustain themselves that long. So that sucks.

Night shade is still breathing as well. Good to see ya.

I didn't know we had anyone interested in theater. I'll have to watch some of those videos you posted.

Hi, all! Hey V-Wing, great to see you're alive and well. Also thanks for asking about me lol. We are actually connected on Facebook, I'm Marcus Rampersad there.

A large part of my difficulties being active here has to do with logistics- I rely mostly on my phone because that's what I have with me most times, so navigating a website rather than an app would always be a bit more cumbersome. I do check in from time to time, and I'm generally always happy to see familiar faces doing well with themselves.

It's especially awesome to see so many of you guys pursuing stuff you love as careers, btw.

Oh believe me, I've seen way crazier and even hateful people in Brony forums of all places, including outright nazis, white supremacists and people who want women and non-white's voting rights taken away, even my voting rights because of my muslim background (despite being white and not even being religious anymore on top of that).

They call them Alt-Bronies. It's mind-boggling how people who are supposedly fans of pastel-colored ponies can frequent the respective fandom community.

...There's even been an article on The Atlantic about it...

Only other thing I'd like to say is that I share Nightshade's political views and thus feel less comfortable posting here nowadays. I'm glad 45 lost and I hope the MAGA-chuds go away forever.
