I've out survived you all. So defacto I am now the leader of brawl. Too bad.

This board probably gets more action than the actual people who post on it now..easy joke. That’s probably applicable to any time in history really though, TBH.

Speak for yourself manta. Most of us are close to middle age and have had some pretty long term relationships.

I'm sorry your hand isn't touching you anymore. But I cant say I blame Jill.

Brawl has been mine for at least a decade.

I was posting on temp TMA for years with minimum engagement with the most enthralling of posts and replies given the circumstances. Notice how the board died when I took my crew and the lifeblood out of it, and left.

Hell, I was technically the last person to do the awards, so bend the knee and kiss the ring bitch. You will never be more than the last desperate piece of shit to care about TMA.

You have done nothing memorable here outside of maintaining the museum. No one will remember you as anything other than a fucking janitor at best you pathetic limp dick clown reject.

I imagine the latest Joker movie is such a personal love letter to your life and you watch it daily for inspiration, praying that society will some day give a shit about you in any way.

The TM facebook fanpage gets more traction than your hollow posts on TMA and that group is comprised of the most insufferable bottom of the barrel retards who champion TM3 and 4 at best.

You're nothing more than a fucking butler maintaining an empty manor. You're like the AI Poe from Altered Carbon; desperate to latch on to an actual human being with character, charisma, and bravado because your tragic existence can only be justified by someone better than you.

You aren't cool kid, you're a colossal failure.

Welcome back Xizor. Glad to see you for a few seconds before you fade back into obscurity.

Maybe you'd be interested in playing some Twisted Metal? We have quite the variety on offer now.

If you are interested there is,

TM1PC group here:
https://discord.gg/ZfacgpV

Mosh, Infernal and I are thinking about a 1v1 tournament once we iron out the details.

TM2PC is here:
https://discord.gg/tzz827J

We used to play every friday night, but moved to Monday as it's more convenient for everyone.

You should know about TMBO located here:
https://discord.gg/N3a7esV

Still playing every Saturday night.

If that's not your pace. I'm sure someone in your facebook group will play TM3 or 4 with you over parsec. Small Brawl as well.

And Last but not least theres a few guys that play TmX on xlink if that is more your thing.

But being the innovator you are, you might want to do your own thing. If that's the case you could start a TMHO community using a PSP emulator.

Nah man. He's not gonna do any of that shit. We've talked about it before and it's better to leave that in our past. TBH we've been doing shit in our own lives where we have a problem just to play in other games. Time, schedules, shit like that.

When the site split, that was the real killer there. If it wasn't for P7 buying a site for a couple years, we would've had nothing. That is the only reason we're back is because that had to shut down, and other circumstances are not here. HI HELLBENT!!!

So yea.....great times.

Well I've been making headway in understanding on how both TM1 and 2 work. I made TM1 mostly stable and online working. And made TM2 work over TCP/IP without any major hacking like the russians did.

I'm slowly learning more and more. With TM2 I plan to modify some of the AA things to make it a bit more balanced. It's a really interesting process.

Spag, Infernal and I often play TM2 from time to time. Now TM1 is up and going I often play that with Spag, Infernal and Mosh.

Pretty much evolved into a strange hobby of mine.

"Welcome back Xizor."

You don't need to welcome my arrival. I'm fucking royalty and a blessing on this godforsaken iceberg of desperation you call a car combat video game fan forum.

"Glad to see you for a few seconds before you fade back into obscurity"

Ahoy mate, I'm glad to see you too before I fade back into your moms pussy all night giving her those sweet g-spot orgasms that shake the walls of your basement bedroom dwelling and make you assume you've summoned Ifrit while playing the Final Fantasy 7 Remake on PS4 because you get SO HOT that you jerk your shrimp dick off to the sounds of me plowing your mom until she achieves her first real penetration orgasm and collapses on top of me.

Nice job posting links to TM shit happening that everyone cool already knows about you based basic bitch. Clean the fucking temp TMA toilets and drink my piss peasant.

It'd be nice to have some old school TMA vets involved in our game nights, buuut I totally get why you guys wouldn't want to, and yeah, life can be very busy, so again, understandable.

Nah but for real I think its beautiful that some of you guys are keeping TM alive this way and I totally respect it but those games were a time and place for me and I'm sure it would be fun for a minute to poke back into them for nostalgia reasons, but I've never really been one to play older games. I don't even have time to play the modern games I want to play with friends much less old TM games because its never going to be as exciting as it was back in the day. I love TM and the friends and experiences that were born out of it here with me making lifelong friends, but I rarely feel like trying to relive the glory days.

I am tempted to play with all the TM crews. It would be really cool to play TM1PC because I've never had that experience. Is TM2PC still keyboard only? I fucking hated playing with a keyboard back in the day. I also really wonder how rusty I would be at TMBO. I feel like I would still have something up my sleeve after playing it for five years straight.

My main issue is life. My weekends aren't my own being a father and husband. I haven't played games on a Saturday for a few years. I always play during the week days or nights. Being a responsible adult sucks especially when we're all quarantined and I have to watch god damn Frozen and Peppa Pig on repeat.

First off, congrats on being a dad SynthR! It's truly been that long since we last spoke. I don't really hop on my Xbox as much as I do the PC but would like to play with you guys sometime!

TM2PC can be played with a controller. I know I did at least about a decade ago. Although, there's some issues that some of us are having with dpad nowadays so results may vary for you. I've given up on TM2PC at the moment since I keep having software issues with trying to run the game in general.

With TM1PC (and TM2PC), we use Hamachi to play it. Honestly, TM1PC feels smoother and easier to run despite the process needing some hurdles to jump through in setting up. I haven't come across any stupid crashes once I had all the necessary files for the game to work.

Speaking of TMBO, we generally play on Saturdays as you know or Wednesdays. As odd as it may seem by today's standards, our community has been quite active to the point where game nights aren't just limited to two nights a week. We have an active crew that can technically make it happen anytime if enough interest is gathered. So you don't have to be worried about being rusty! Wish you or Xizor could join and make a rare appearance at some point.

Off-topic, but are you now the DizasterChild? ;D

Congratulations man. It's good to hear, even if you are in the mental torture of watching frozen over and over...its one of the few movies I know word for word...And not because of my own will.

Thanks guys. She actually just turned three, so it's been a little while but when would it come up in conversation?

I game mostly on the Xbox so you can always find me on there. I used game quite a bit on my PC, but over the years my neck problems have caught up to me. I fractured it as a kid and developed what's called torticollis, basically my head sits funny on my head slightly but enough to throw off my posture thus causing neck pain. Trying to maintain posture with a mouse and keyboard all day for work is enough to be sore every day. However, holding a controller eliminates that issue altogether thankfully which is why I was asking about TM2PC's ability to use one.

Does TM2PC still have trouble getting everyone into the in-game lobby or was that the Kali program that we used to use? Basically everyone had to join in a specific order or they would block each other from entering the game. Fucking weirdest thing.

I would imagine TM1PC being imbalanced. Some of the characters are absolute shit.

I have a PS2 Slim, so I can get TMBO running. I haven't played since it was resurrected years ago, so I'll have to do some research into how to get setup. I'll look on the Black board and see if I can join in. Wednesdays are doable.

Dizaster is Evan. Completely different dude. Obsessed with Volkswagons and Mordicai from Borderlands. He's basically Xizor's whipping boy when we game.

I don't like the music in either Frozen movies. I find them too theatrical. I love Coco and Moana though. The problem is I spend all this time rewatching these things or half-watching, when I could be doing something I want to do, lol. I know, I'm a parent, tough luck. I try to sneak my tablet in or something so I can catch up on stuff but let my daughter use the big screen. The things you do for love...

Not sure what you mean by that first question. That being said, it sucks about that condition. Got a bit of a similar issue myself but on one side I suppose? I don't know how to properly explain that one.

Regarding TM2PC, there's a similar issue to that but that might be depending on how you're connected through Hamachi. It's less hassling compared to Kali, fuck that program.

TM1PC has some slight changes. For instance, we discovered that Darkside's special has a freezing mechanic attached to it that deals no damage instead of it being a crappy laser weapon. It's more fun than expected and runs smoother too.

If you have a PS2 Slim, then you should have an easier time in setting up than with the fat PS2. If you have the original PS3 you can play it on there as well. Also, with new advancements to PCSX2, TMBO can finally be played via emulator. Although, some of us hold doubts about its true effectiveness...

I only called you Diz since you used the blue font that I usually see him do that. Speaking of which, does he still play with you guys?

The question about children coming up in conversation was rhetorical because we never talk about our lives on TMA so how would anyone know I have a kid? It was me speaking out loud.

----

That's interesting that TM1PC has differences. Are there as many differences as there are between TMB vs. TMBO? I'm not talking damage scores, but more game play/special tweaks. I would be interested in reading what they changed.

----

RE: TMBO: I ordered a network utility game from the list and a network disc for next to nothing, so that should be arriving within the next two weeks. I'll set it up and hop on with you guys. It's going to be a trip playing TMBO again especially with voice chat. I'm kind of conflicted with voice chat because I want to talk, but I also want to hear the game for audio cues. I'll have to wear an ear piece while connected to Discord on my phone and have the sound bar volume up enough so I can hear it without it bleeding through to you guys. Maybe I'm thinking too much about it.

At first I was like "Oh, I can just download Discord on the Xbox so I can have the game audio and voice chat come through the same line." It took me a minute to re-realize that I'm playing on a PS2 when the online experience was bare bones, lol. It's been a while, give me a break.

----

Diz still hangs with us. He's perpetually playing games that are four years old so we have to convince him to buy something we can all play. Magnum is like that too except he pretty much only plays Destiny. It's hard getting people to game when you're a real adult. I'm 36 and never imagined it would be this difficult. I dreamed about a day where I could just buy whatever I wanted, go wherever I wanted, stay up when I wanted, make my own rules....and here I am a slave to adulthood, in bed by 9:30 p.m. for a 5:30 a.m. wake up.

In comparison to TMB/TMBO, there is, I'd say, some differences for sure. In terms of damage, TM1PC is roughly the same as its PS1 counterpart. There are some weapon pickup changes on some of the levels. I've noticed there to more rear flames in the game than ever before. Speaking of which, the rear flame lasts way longer than the PS1 version and can dish out tons of damage.

One significant change that has been discovered is that there is a way to play online in not only the 2 player version of the maps, but the single player version as well. Just gotta make some minor tweaking each time you wish to play which version but is doable and incredible.

On Discord, they have features in which you can change the volume levels to the way you desire. You can even do it on an individual level but unsure if you need to have a certain role to do that feature.

I need to go back on Xbox. It's just sitting there. Which reminds me, the Game Pass content varies between PC/Xbox so might as well check it out.

That's hilarious. Had a good chuckle at that.

I'm a Destiny whore. No denying it. I wouldn't mind playing with you guys if
1--we could really nail a day and time down. We are all on different schedules.
2-- Play a game I'd be interested in without having to spend 60 bucks.

It's so sad now. I'm finally stable financially after all these years and I'm still way to prudent on games. I'm considering the new DOOM though. That looks fun as fuck. My best friend in real life keeps telling me to try the beta BF I think Xizor is playing? I played that one type of game with you guys before and I was horrible at it.

"Shitballs" for life!

Doom Eternal doesn't have multiplayer just so you know.

It's just rough getting everyone together and on a certain game. Sure, I buy whatever I want, but I don't keep my games. I resell them as soon as I'm done with them. This way I'm not spending $80 CDN on a new game every single time. I don't buy many games day one anyway, so I wait for sales.

Xbox Game Pass has so many great multiplayer games that we all could be playing. It's amazing value for money. I should list the best multiplayer games on there to prove my point. It's $12 US a month if you buy monthly, but it goes down considerably if you buy annually. Like there's no reason to not have Game Pass if you own an xbox.

Doom Eternal does in fact have a suite of MP modes, though I haven't tried them yet, but you are incorrect sir. Know your role and shut your mouth.

I hate CoD but I'm playing the new Warzone mode (because its free and THE FIRST GAME TO BE COMPLETELY CROSS PLATFORM) and its super fun and easy to get into for a battle royale mode.

I'm not really interested in trying to relive the glory days of Twisted Metal, but I'm up for playing anything modern if the stars align.

I swear to Satan I read that Eternal didn't have MP this time around. I'm just looking now and what I read was that it doesn't have a traditional multiplayer mode. MY BAD!!!

Even if Doom didn't have a multi-player, (and I was thinking like Synthr too it didn't) I'm still thinking about it.

I'm probably gonna take a small hiatus from Destiny once I finish the 3rd part of this season. It's hella easy and get what I paid for out of it anyway.
