Why the hell is this guide in particular so expensive? For months, I haven't seen one for sale that's cheaper than $600 online. What's so special about it? The Twisted Metal 3 guide is fairly cheap. You can score one for $20-30.

I mentioned this once before on the Collecting Mega-Thread to no response. A user on here sent an email to a seller and the response was that algorithms are controlling the pricing and thats it.

If people will pay for it at that price it's not a scam. It depends on how rare it is vs. the demand.

Look at you. You paid $1500. There's no way I'd do that as for me it seems like a ludicrous use of money, but it's rare and SOMEONE will do so it sells at that price to SOMEONE (you).

I can’t edit the mega thread anymore, so it will take additional posts. I’ll host a new mega thread at a site that allows multiple edits and link it here. In the meantime, feel free to PM me what you have to add or post it in the mega-thread.

Both copies I found were in good shape and complete with poster for about $15 a piece. I think its just scarce and an Amazon seller overpriced it. Since the TM collectors I know have paid around that, I would blame it on algorithms.
