What do you think?

honestly i think TM4 had better designs, at least when it came to original vehicles. Orbital, for example, was a cool looking design. the vehicles for Trash Man, Calypso, Goggle Eyes were interesting designs. Moon Buggy was a cool looking boss vehicle as well, and Thumper looked fine. and Dragula was a neat guest vehicle. There were a few stinkers though, like the generic Joneses, Drag Queen, and Pizza Boy. Oh, and the embarrassingly bad Captain Grimm vehicle... and most of the classic TM vehicles looked worse, particularly Minion and Axel. TM3's designs in comparison looked a little clunky and more generic. Of the original designs I guess Auger and Firestarter were decent, but Club Kid & Flower Power were ordinary looking vehicles with cute skins, so they were underwhelming. as for the bosses, Darkside n Minion looked good, but Primeval looked like total crap.
Sweet Tooth looked better in TM4 in my opinion as well, with a more dangerous look, even though I didn't like the idea of ST being a boss vehicle with a juiced up special.
Even Create-A-Car Hammerhead in TM4 looked better than TMIII Hammerhead, so for the most part I think 989's vehicle designs didn't get  worse in their 2nd TM game, but slightly better.

TM4 had bad cars. Only one that was ok was Calypso's nuke truck though it was super OP but wtf was with the shiny coating on all the cars. Might as well cut the BS and made the whole game a cartoon.

TM4 cars look like plastic toys. Most of the special weapons are useless because they deal very low damage and recharge slow. No need to use them when the normal weapons deal way more damage.
There is almost no strategy in the TM4 special weapons(some exeptions of course).
TM3 is better for 1v1 games.

TM3's Sweet Tooth truck looked like buffalo shit. needless to say, TM3 really just flopped to begin with.

This is a hard one to choose. 4 had some pretty aweful cars,  but had some decent just because of sheer number alone.

While 3 had a lot less and most of them where meh in design.

I didn't care particularly for Nuke truck Caylipso or Grimm.

When it comes to 3 I feel like Granny Grim, Flower power, and club kid where the weakest designs.

I guess I'm going to go with 4.

This is a hard question lol. I think 3 has my favorite cars in the whole Twisted Metal series. But 4 still managed to have interesting cars, and I like how they were original instead of re-using the same old ones.
I vote 4 but I feel bad because it had nice stuff  :P

In TM4, it's honestly so difficult to tell the difference between Captain Grimm and Rob Zombie.  Their cars look way to similar.

Also, the cars are either too big or too small.  It seems to me like 989 Studios were just going back and forth with sizes for each car.

There are actually a couple of cool vehicles in 4 such as Orbital, General Warthog, Moon Buggy, Crusher and Quatro. In Twisted Metal 3 the only cool new vehicle was Auger.
