Via Shareplay yes. Both parties need to have decent internet though. Did a run through with a friend of mine and it worked pretty damn good as long as you are hardwired and not Wifi'd

I totally would man, but I'm not hardwired in...Maybe we can do a test run to see if it can work.

I'm wired but has TMB on PS3 and not PS4. I'm guessing that won't work?

I'm gonna have to buy it again then. If I remember right you can't download your PSN games that you bought through a PS3.

That's right. Whatever you downloaded for PS3 will not count for PS4. Quite the disappointment since I have to boot up my PS3 to play Warhawk and TMB each time.

Having said that, I never knew you can play TMB on PS4 like that. Here I was contemplating on buying it on there, quite amazing. Is it only for co-op?

P.S. Is there anything different about TMB on PS4 compared to the original?

There are a few crossover titles but not many ...like I didn't need to buy JOURNEY again for PS4 because I already purchased it on PS3.
However TMB on PS3 & PS4 are indeed different. PS3's TMB is basically the same as it is on PS2.
TMB on PS4 however, as well as other PS2 on PS4 titles, have 1080p up-rendering and Trophies, so the graphics and sounds are noticeably improved. You can also play online via Shareplay, but it requires a good connection otherwise it runs poorly if at all.

It's for any of the two player modes, but like mosh stated you need a good connection.

Also keep in mind 2nd player will be running at a slightly lower frame rate than the owner due to streaming it over the net. It's not a 100% perfect system.

But from what I've played doing it with one person if both connections are good it's barely noticeable. Through 3 hours of share play we only had slight lag for a few seconds.

Another downside is after so often you'll have to quit share play and reset it due to the time limitation of shareplay.

I have it. I'd be down. Too bad I can't record.

I probably should of mentioned you don't have to own it. Only the person share playing does.

I can record via share button. I'll admit though, I'm pretty rusty. Not quite as bad as I thought, but its still rains true.

Except for the framerate drop that I experienced that gave the enemies an advantage over me. I don't know what caused that but it's the reason why the original PS2 TMB is better than it's PSN counterpart.

It doesn't matter to me. I'll leave it up to whoever I'm playing with. Did drive-in movies once. Wasn't super bad.
