Shocked it hasn't happened yet honestly. People are slacking. We had a few reports like that around my area.

Some lawyer is gonna step up. "Have you been injured playing Pokemon GO?!?!? CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT filed nationwide! Get your share now. Money! Gotta catch it all!!

I'm not the type to give out Darwin awards, root for natural selection, since I believe everyone can make colossal mistakes, even geniuses...

but goddamn, how is Pokemon Go making people so oblivious?

I know defenders claim this app helps them with PTSD - but studies have shown that to be true of all video games.
The world is a dangerous enough place without staring at your phone, so not sure why players aren't more cautious.
These guys who fell off a cliff are very lucky to be alive falling over 50 feet. Many people die from falling way less a distance.

There have been other Pokemon Go cases worthy of note lately too.
Some guy in NY was riding his bike playing Pokemon Go in his pajamas, and the game led him to a Police Precinct - and the guy had a warrant for his arrest, so he was arrested on the spot lol.

The only reason these articles are being made is to generate clicks. People fall off cliffs and get hit by cars every damn week. But tag Pokémon GO onto the article and BAM here come the clicks.

I don't play the game. But even I can see that it does more good for society than bad. People whine about people being phone zombies and shit. These people are going outside, meeting new people, and developing friendships. All while getting outdoors and playing a game.

They literally gave people and the crybaby media everything they wanted. But they are determined to dump some turd articles. Because "Popular videogame gets people outside and makes life better" doesn't generate clicks.

This app in the first month has done more to help society than the news ever has.
