If you plan on hosting some games on TMBO, post the day and time here accordingly. The point of this is to keep one topic active instead of an increase of random threads like "I'm hosting right now in Chicago time!!!"

And just a reminder for any new folks that it is crucial that you use the chat code in the TMBO lobby.

Press R1, R2, L2, L1, L1, L2, R2, R1 in order to get access to the chat. Press Square to open the chatbox, and triangle to close it. A USB keyboard can also be used in chat if needed.

We can't communicate with you if you don't use chat basically which can make things difficult. Although unfortunately, if you have an European copy of the game you will be unable to use chat unless you have a cheat device.


Game Reminder: You have an aa energy bar so make use of it.

Freeze - Up, Down, Up
Shield - Right, Right, Down, Down
Cloak - Left, Left, Down, Down

I'll keep all of that in mind.

You told me, quite clearly, you didn't want to wake up early anymore for a place that may or may not be guaranteed. That is on you. I don't know why these conversations keep happening when we clearly resolve the issue.

Last time, we played at a time not suitable, by your own standards, and we couldn't guarantee you a spot. So why are you upset for not getting an invite if you made it clear to me you won't attend evening (early AM) sessions anymore?

And since I cannot edit my posts:

"Premium" first, is completely false. IF you want to play, it is first come first serve. But the issue we have had some nights is that we have 9-10 people and only 8 slots. As I have told you many times, Aced14 leaves at a certain time... so thats best for EU people like you or Kemmler to slip in, and its not as bad as waking up at 4:30-5am, to instead come at 7am. Which btw, you told me, was still too early. So why are you so upset, you are inventing drama.

Did we not discuss you making a thread a week in advance to scheduling games in your evening time frame (so it would be my afternoon, and pacific time's lunch), which might be smaller rooms of 2v2 or something, but at very least to get some games going at a time best suited for you? We do this for kemmler from time to time...... But you never even made a thread.

With all due respect, please stop with your ideas you are being victimized, it seems it all stems back to that one night where there was no room, and I accidentally told you the wrong time to wakeup (time changes were different for NA/Europe). Understand it from both perspectives.

Well I'm planning to buy a new capture card soon, and possibly a used router where I work to use in my room. I'll probably start playing with you guys again soon. My advice is to generally keep touch on Skype if possible.

I've been with the original server since the beginning and I actually help pay for the damn thing now. There have been MANY nights I couldn't get in because the room was full, and everyone adores me because of my congenial good nature and positive attitude!

In other words, there are no premium players. The only way to keep this dream alive is to play nice and let bad moments wash over you.

Thanks for the info!  New to the forum, just got it working after learning about it 2 months ago, been years, looks and plays great!
    Will jump in off and on.  Will keep an eye for scheduled games here whenever I have my PC open.  If I decide to schedule any future hang-out game I'll be sure to put it here.

Every Saturday pretty much. We're always on around 8:30/9:00PM PST. You can view the TMBO lobby via the server website to see when people are online as well.

Good news! I got a new HDTV for my room, and the PS3 gameplay works perfectly on it! I'll try it with my PS2 so I can finally play TMBO in color! :D

I finally have everything I need to play TMBO. I probably won't be able to catch the usual matches as I work weekends, but sometimes I'm lucky and get a few days off then.

Awesome man. My work schedule itself is all over the place but uh, we usually start at 12EST on Saturdays. Still though I REALLY need to try and host something in the day time.

Skype is unusable garbage at this point, imo.

You guys should seriously consider using Discord for communication and planning. It's an impeccable client, that I can't recommend enough.

Yes. I think it's more dependable than Skype. We've been having issues with calls dropping or people being unable to join them so we moved to discord.

You got the idea that were going against you when that's not what it was. The reason I had to go for you is because you cloak and lurk on the sidelines while the rest of us battle it out. I can assure we weren't teaming up on you because I was fighting Adonael and Mehdiocre the whole time.

The reason I used the enviroment was because you grabbed a full and didn't mine afterwards. I just wanted to end the match. That was my last game anyways. Regardless of that event it was fun.

Yeah I know him. He hates me and the others because we were full one game night. He claimed we took the game away from him even though we didn't. We had 8 players and couldn't force anyone to leave.

Hopefully sometime I'll have either a Friday/Saturday night off, and perhaps then catch a crowd online.

When can you play it again

It may be a bit too late say this now, since most announcements are made in advance, but I'll be around tonight until 9:00PM EST.

I'm especially attentive on Friday/Saturday because I figure that's when most folks would turn up.

Hopefully we can get some match's going.

Played this game online for the VERY first time in my entire life. Man, playing an early PS2 game online in 2017, when the official servers are disconnected, was such a surreal experience.

I had the same problem earlier. Server/Connection Error etc.

I should also add that I'm usually around most days of the week. Since I work night's, I sleep by day and am usually am by the afternoon.

Understandably, there isn't a lot of activity on weekdays. So Friday/Saturday/Sunday are usually the best days to get online.

Just thought I'd throw that out there.

Thank you very much. You're no slouch either. When I signed on to Tmalliance, I thought to myself, "How's the community?" I've had some bad experiences talking to people online (mainly on Halo 3 and Call of Duty). But I've had nothing but positive things to say about the few people I've played. I guess it really depends on which games you play whether the community's good or toxic.
