I posted some screenshots in another thread but it hasn't garnered much interest. I was wondering if anyone is actually interested in putting together a game of our own. Basically a giant send up for the Twisted Metal series. I know a couple of 3D designers post on here and maybe even some programmers. Throw in your inputs because I'd like to get something rolling!

What can you offer to a team? How much time do you have to devote to a project?

If your skills mostly rely on "I have some ideas." I'm out.

And if you are going through the trouble it should be its  own thing. We're not the creators of twisted metal. A inspired by game would be most appropriate rather than a fan game that rips off all the points of a already created game.

My skills rely on writing and 3d. Though my 3d is average. I'm not a guru at it.

I thought at first we could work on a simple tribute project and eventually mold that into an original concept. I do have a much broader idea in mind, but it will take a bigger team to accomplish this. Right now I am dabbling in UDK making maps based on the original two Twisted Metal games. I was devoting a lot time to it before and am thinking of picking it back up soon. I thought if we could perfect something reminiscent of the original games we could then use that engine and framework to create something all-new and awesome.

Well, Im interested, but I also work a full time job. Do you have another way to get ahold of you to talk? I'm very limited at the moment in the fact I only have mobile Internet.
