I'll be posting games I have played in HD over the next weeks. So far I have 8 games uploaded, featuring players from TMA; including myself, Mosh, AfroDizziac, Hellbent, and Roket. Each game features a custom soundtrack, including music from our very own Mosh Babylon (from his band Carpe Diem Envy and Stone Man). The rest of the music will comprise of classic game soundtracks like Jet Moto, Twisted Metal: Small Brawl, TM2, and Critical Depth.

To start things off here is a short 4 minute artsy-fartsy video in slow-motion with motion-blurring to create a smooth relaxing & poetic TM video accompanied by Mosh's rendition of the classical song Ave Maria. Enjoy!

Good games and fantastic recordings. I especially like the Mosh soundtracks.

I'll be contributing once i get the last converter that i need to start capturing PS3 games. Duel recordings would kick ass We can also add some TM2PC in here as well if we can muster the players. Perhaps on TM2 we could get a 2 v 2 with 4 people recording.

The guy he actually knows and has had a lot of contact with for the last 6+ years (10+ years if you count the TMB era)? Not really interested in that, you can do that in your own channel. I prefer to just give the experience of TDM, and how much fun it is. Thanks anyway.

As for the channel, all we need is some support from Dave and we'll be away. I'm more surprised than anyone he isn't interested in supporting his own game anymore by promoting our channel. I wasn't aware he spited us that much. Of course I could just be very much mistaken (Murry Walker'ism) and he's just very busy again, but my eyes are opening and it's hard not to take this one personally. Shadow's ALT special cooked: Does this range + damage seem fair to you?

Just look how far away I am and how much damage it does (120dmg, over half my life; more than everything but the flame saw), no indication whatsoever it hits that far and does that much damage. Imagine what this can do in Deathmatch games to random players just fighting nearby.

Since when has Shadow been a Master Chef timebomb cooking machine? Stuff like this is why I don't pick the car except to use the primary special, despite him being my fave car from TM2.

Players also exploit the ALT as an instant-hit quick-tap-detonate area-of-effect shotgun that does 60dmg up-close (or 70 for direct-hit), which is impossible to avoid or shield. Now imagine a crafty player that saves up 3 of those and blasts you in the face with all of them before you have any idea what just happened.

Fans are still waiting for the last balancing patch that was supposed to fix Shadow.

If only it was possible to jump the shockwave... it sucks that you have to waste a shield, or pick a fast enough car that you can turn around and run away (which also sucks)  

Whenever I see a coffin cooking in a team death match, I'll usually throw up a shield and turbo dash into it, just to get rid of it.

yup, a slow moving, visible shockwave that can be jumped would make it perfectly fine IMO.

Yeah I got 3 kills in 3 seconds, almost 4 by the end of the game but time ran out. DAMN YOU AFRO AND YOUR JUMPING BEANS! But seriously, you guys did most the damage there I just took their scalps.

Tyrant: Mosh plays every day, I try to jump on at least once a week now, usually with Mosh/Afro/Hellbent. Time spent making these videos means less playtime but it's worth it, I love watching these videos to TM music, and being able to share them with everyone.

I've been hosting and trying to see if I can figure out a workaround to the trophy issues.  Some people think hosts switching or dropping causes the local stat tracking to screw up, so I'm hosting and stat tracking after wiping all TM data.

Still having some latency issue (poor lock / invisible hits / weapons not registering).  Your butter smooth videos with no issues make me sad.   :'(

It's always puzzled me when you complained of those issues I never have, and I'm playing from New Zealand. I have miniscule lag, can still play just fine and competively. Usually the first sign of a poor connection is you can't do damage or get kills (or that's just poor skill...).

Have you tried a different connection? Maybe your PS3 is on life support? (Afro's just kicked the bucket so he just got a 160GB slim) My 160GB slim runs the game fine, occassional freezes but that's normal for everyone. Mosh has a fat but his works fine aswell, and he doesn't complain of any of the issues you do.

I think it's just my ISP, but it's unfortunately on their end.  Maybe how they deal with the PSN through their network (packet throttling?).  Speed testing I have a 5MB up / 1MB down and can get 90ms pings to California and London.  Some PSN games I have no issues with, and never have issues on PC games where you can pick servers / players and weed out bad pingers.

Some smaller games are butter smooth, but when people that lag in my rooms show up all hell breaks loose.  Whats weird is it effects the frame rate updates too, last night going down to 5 FPS for a couple of seconds, almost seemed like it was going to crash then came back.  I said it before and got ridiculed for it, but for some reason excessive latency seems to effect the hardware rending killing FPS randomly.  Probably has something to do with a error in calculating server side physics and keeping track of all the players not in the genera area?  It's on a 3000 model new Slim, so it shouldn't be console.  Removing all saved data and doing a fresh install didn't help.

I've notice when SirCrush is in my room, we're lagging pretty bad to each other, but from talking to him it seems we should not be (his location and service).  I wish we had more options over here in the US for broadband, I'd dump Comcast in a second.  

I'm hoping to play a bit and get on video with you guys, I'd love to see how I look from the other perspective.

So it looks like the main reason you have so much trouble with TM is because the game is peer-2-peer, and your ISP doesn't like doing that and throttles it so you get crazy lag (especially with more players in a game). Where as the other games you play are more likely server-side and your ISP has no problem you just talking to a game server that hosts/distributes the packets.

I saw your game open a couple nights ago but didn't join because it was TDM sorry. I'm done with TDM for now, so if you want me to join and record just make sure it's TLMS! 5 minute TLMS games are way easier for me to encode/share, plus I enjoy them more.

Thats my guess, maybe comcast sees P2Ppackets as bittorrent.  Still, not every P2P game is effected, but it's enough that I think thats the issue.

All good, as I said I'm trying to figure out if a clean wipe and hosting while getting 50 kills each car fixes the trophy issue.  Once I'm done, I'll be back to playing any and all servers.

Thanks for the Cred Mort, but I didn't actually make those ones.  Not sure if the system changed, but if you use someone else's skin it was putting a new copy in the database and attributing it to you.

I was working on a few originals, but the failure to adequately fix the black layers issue made me figure why waste my time.  So Secret Service Outlaw and TMNT Sweets never were to be.

Almost threw my controller through a window last night.  Went 22-2 with freaking Darkside last night (helped thanks to two smart minded JY?D's on my team) and it booted me while trying to post my stats.

Voice my displeasure to Jaffe, and he's 100% done from what it seems.  As to SSM or ESP, might still get a balance patch but who knows.  Thats doesn't mean much when latency, freezes, drops when posting stats, and trophy issues will not be addressed.

Really, really sucks.  This game is AAA greatness when running smooth.  But the bugs kill it, big time IMO.

Sony really needs to step up their support and QC.

It's been freezing alot for us recently, ending sessions prematurely in some cases because it can really kill the fun. It's just really random, it's never because you have been playing too long, sometimes it'll freeze right after you boot up after a previous freeze.

On average it still goes about 20+ games between freezes when I look at my game log, but when it freezes 3-4 times in a session it just ruins the flow. Some sessions it never freezes once, meaning it CAN work fine for many games and many maps and many players.

22-2? And I thought I was impressive when I went 8-0 (also thanks to a smart dog aka Mr. Pharming), I would be pretty angry if my stats didn't count. You can nip that boot bug in the butt by not hosting, because that bug only happens to hosts.

As for the skins, damn I really thought they were yours. I remember seeing them on TMA, if someone else posted them on TMA I can't remember for the life of me who really made them. I know some guy was making lots of skins here but I assumed that was you for some reason.

I read those tweets to Dave and he responded, sounds like they are still planning some tweaks. The game still hasn't gone PSN (Starhawk has), making me think they are going to try one final patch before doing so, because a lot of issues still remain.

And I totally agree, the game is AAA when running on full steam on a lucky night, but should we really be relying on luck?

After taking a few month break and watching Mort's and Hellbent's video's are really making me want to start playing again. I'll probably have to play in TMA lobbies to get mos the most enjoyment and best matches though.

Thanks for watching Roadie! I love making these videos. It makes me happy to know other people are enjoying them too.

I plan to make at least 4 or 6 a week because it's so easy to make them. But soon i'll have to try recording some different modes. Are there any modes anyone is particularly interested in seeing? I could try and organize some serious Nuke matches.

Thanks! I'm going to do my best to at least have one video a week. But i will likely be doing much more then that. Originally i wanted it to be a daily TM video thing. But in the end i think it's better if i just release them as quickly as possible.

I'd like to record some theme matches but i need at least 6 players who will cooperate with rule sets that i create. One of the ideas i had was 2 teams using Juggernaut, JYD, and a wild card. With Mort and I both being the Juggernaut players and recording so people can watch from both perspectives.

The reason i suggest a 3 vs 3 is because more action would occur on camera as opposed to a 7 vs 7 where the Juggernauts wouldn't last as long and lots of fighting would occur off screen.
