I was looking at Halloween masks and I stumbled upon this one:
IDK about you but I think this is as close to TMB mask as you can get. Sure you could paint it yourself to look more like it but I think it's really cool.

Almost like it. Only the teeth are not right and there's more than one strap holding the mask over his face.
Plus, the "make-up" over the eyes are not on Sweet Tooth. And the clown nose has no scratch marks.

I guess it's just me, but I never liked the clown 'mask'. clowns wear facepaint, and so did Needles in the first 2 games. as much as I love Black, I dont like that aspect of it

in the profile, it looks like paint... and even in the video for the Lost ending, it still looks paint, but I can man up and admit that yes, it was a mask. a VERY bad ass looking mask. I still stand by the TM2 Needles wearing paint...

I agree that TM2 Needles was face paint... there's too much wrinkling in the face / too much expression for it to be a mask...masks can only contort so much..

yup, thats the exact pic I was going off of. if you were to look at his driver profile in the first game, it's small enough to distort the detailing.. and the actual detail in the mask is so spot-on, it actually looks like paint
it just seems more natural for a clown to wear paint than a mask.. its what I've grown accustomed to anyway. ICP, White Zombie's "Grease Paint And Monkey Brains" and the accompanied clown drawing in the book... the clown from CSI that the wife was fucking cause she had a clown fetish and got busted cause the paint had stained a pillowcase.. you see more paint kits on Halloween than you do clown masks, and the majority of the masks are all intended to look evil anyway

lol, yea that'd be a bit of ride. it is an awesome show tho, but I usually get screwed out of going.. like last year, my buddy went and got a pic with Danielle Harris, which if you dont know, was in one of the original Halloween movies when she was little.. and then was in both of Zombie's remakes.. also played the goth roommate in Urban Legends. my friend was fucking with me tho, cause he knows I have this massive crush thing on her... that asshole lol. he also got to eat breakfast with Jason Mewes which was pretty neat..... its def worth going to, even if you're over there

I actually like mine better, I just like the way it looks, might not look as much like Sweet Tooth though, but something about this mask just made me want to buy it from the first time I saw it, I have always liked the evil looking clown thing, so this just works fine for me.

Actually I am the person that is creating the mask. I will be selling a few starting in December on Ebay. I also will be using leather straps and real buckles. The one that was posted here is my prototype. I was just testing the paint job. The final one should be a lot better.

That depends weather or not you want leather straps. I will be doing a lower cost version with brown nylon straps. then the delux with leather. The non leather one will be between 200.00 and 220.00. One with leather straps will be about 260.00 270.00. Not cheap I know but each mask takes about 24 man hours to complete. Hope this helps.

Yes you can pre-order one. Just keep in mind that you will not receive it until about the 2nd week of December. However you will have one of the first ones made if you do. I have 2 on pre-order right now so if you order soon you will have number 3 in the production line. Hope this helps.

You can pre order through paypal or i can set up an Ebay auction for you when you are ready to order. You would have to also specify weather or not you wanted leather or nylon straps. I have to be honest and say that the nylon ones contour your head better. As for my take on Doll Face. It might be alot different than in TMB like my first take of the Sweet Tooth mask. I however am going to make the TMB version first. Face and back head piece with a magnetic locking hinged faceplate. I think also that I am going to include a mask key in with the deal just for shits and giggles.

yea, if the plant manager can talk HIS boss over at HQ to let it go. my boss is totally cool and said if it was up to him, he'd lemme just haul the piece of shit off (his words, not mine) since it probably doesnt run anyway. but its not his call, unfortunately. I mean, I dont care what it looks like, since it'd get dull-coated into white, ice cream stickers, then let my gun-nut friend Xian unload his AR-15 all over it. I'd just need to make sure it ran good since I'd take it to cons and whatnot. if you notice, it's still got a plate on it, but the last registration was up on December 2003. probably not a good sign, but that wouldnt stop me. it'd also need some custom-work, like cutting a bay window out on the passenger side where you'd actually walk up to buy ice cream. this was just a delivery boxtruck, after all

A small group 2/3 guys interested in doing this might chuck a grand at it I reckon. Surely an old decomissioned truck coud be got a few hundred bucks? Say $300-500. Then spend the rest painting it and adding fake guns- fuck even the head could probably be done with paper mache.

as for the truck, I'm not too sure how much it'd cost in the end. or if I could even make it road legal. I'm sure there'd be some shit about having fake machineguns on it that'd piss some ppl off as for this mask, I thought I'd give it a review in case anyone was considering getting one.. first off, the pictures dont really do this thing justice. to actually get it in your hands and see it up close and in person, is where it really shines. the molding is absolutely perfect. everything is shaped spot-on and size proportionate. the painting and intricate detailing on the neglect and abuse is just fucking amazing. also, and I was pleasantly surprised at, is the durability and overall build quality. in the eBay ad, he says he uses marine fiberglass to make this thing. thats the same shit they use for boats lol.. I mean, this thing is thick. if you knock on it like a door, the fucker sounds like a door. I swear, you could wear this in a real Twisted Metal tourney and not have to worry about getting shot in the face :D but along with that kinda toughness comes weight. when I picked it up outta the box, I was legitimately shocked at how heavy it is. but this is one of the things you gotta expect with quality. and its actually quite comfortable. the inside is covered in a padded fabric that protects your ugly mug from taking the brunt of that hard-as-a-rock material as you walk with it on unfortunately, there are some downsides. nothing major, but a couple personal irks: 1. I milled about the ad for like, 20 mins looking for an option to get leather straps instead of the black nylon, and found nothing. I mean, the nylon is perfectly fine and the fitment adjustments are easy, via velcro (4 straps that meet at a steel ring), but the hardcore enthusiast (looking at you, Arch) would have wanted leather for authenticity. being that I'm the type that will be wearing it, nylon works for me since it should last longer than leather anyway 2. the aforementioned weight. as you walk around with it on, gravity will fight your ass with every step, making the mask slowly slouch down. eventually, the eye socket is cheek level with the forehead area covering your eye. I'm almost certain that playing with the straps and getting a good, tight fit will resolve this tho. I have yet to give it an endurance test to see how long it is before the weight starts to effect your neck 3. and this is my main gripe... the scarred eye. in the pics, it looks like its recessed inward like a real scar, and then filled in black. its actually just an 'X' painted on the eyelid. I dont know why, but it stands out to me.. amongst the rest of the above-and-beyond detail. I almost wanna take a dremel to it and notch it out myself, but I'm waaaaaaay too scared I'll fuck something up the overall verdict.. this belongs in any hardcore TM fan's collection (once again, Arch...). it is worth every penny of its somewhat hefty price tag

I will be making the masks with leather straps and buckles for a special edition that I will be doing. Originally I was going to offer it as an option but had some difficulty with two suppliers of the leather straps and D rings. I was already late on my release date and wanted to offer people something so I decided to release it standard with polyester straps. As far as the xed out eye is concerned I always saw it as painted on. The mask looks different in almost every image I see. However if anyone would like it to be etched in I would be happy to do so. I am glad you liked the mask overall Dizaster Child. Thanks for having patients with the delay in shipping

like I said man, the straps dont really bother me. I prefer it actually, since velcro will provide a more precise fit that leather and picking a hole to use that might be a lil off, and with the weight of the mask, it'll need to be dead on. and as far as the eye..
looks recessed to me. but in all reality, its just a blip on what is a real masterpiece here. I am more than happy with it. and dont even worry about the delay in shipping. I'm a very understanding person and your track record on eBay is pretty respectable. just remember that 30% discount on the Dollface mask. I will def be grabbing one for my gf ;) I'm not entirely sure that a big ass truck like that uses struts/shocks, or if its all leaf springs. but either way, you can achieve that "rickety-ness" and still keep it relatively safe by adding anti-roll bars underneath so the axles stay planted on the ground. and I'm sure there are quite a few ppl here that would be willing to take on a challenge such as replicating a vehicle from the game, aside from maybe Darkside since big rigs are easily in the 20k range, even for a junked piece of shit. but retired cabs, cop cars, boxtrucks.. those are doable

I love this mask. The work that went into it is excellent.
I even thought about dropping the dough for one but I try to limit myself to official stuff only. It is hard as I wanted to buy YJ's full set of vehicle models as well at one point but if it left me out of pocket for when I coud grab something officially released I'd be pretty miserable. Mind you a leather strap ultra deluxe version of the mask will be very fine...

I'm sorry to say that the yellow/red wig looks like catsup and fries. The orange one looks like it can be thinned out a bit, and it should work. Cut holes in it, so the belts can get through. Other than that, it should work out great. My buddy RJ is being ST for Halloween too.

With my mask, I've decided to get a skin cap and wear it pre-flame since nothing is gonna look good. And to make it look more time-correct, I'm also using a white button-down with a Sweet Tooth Ice Cream Co. patch on the chest, like in the Broken trailer... Or I'll put in my black dreads and just do it up as a Sweet Tooth minion. |

Alright, thanks for the suggestions.
The catsup fries thing was something I made...cause I could not find anything for the flames that umm..woulnd actually burn my skull. Then I found that wig. Because of the way it is made...cannot really cut holes so the straps can be seen. I guess the wig is thought to be used by someone dressed as a super saiyan. One could think getting a mask is hard...but the flaming head is even harder! Hopefully someone will find a good nice solution. |

Arch is right. You don't have to do the fire, as ST can be seen running around sometimes without an ignited head.

Ballin' suspenders. I was watching the Road Warrior recently and realized that Incog kinda ripped those off of the mighty Humungous. Oh well. Looks good though, lose the shirt and gain 50 lbs.

I recently got my Sweet Tooth mask in the mail. Vampfire1972 did a Twisted job on the mask. Well worth the price I paid for it. I also won a signed copy of Twisted Metal by David Jaffe. He signed the guide as well. Thought I'd share this with you Twisted Metal folks online.
